I wish there was a Unilocal for Unilocal. We drive to 3 goodwill locations all were closed for business. Unilocal sucks.

This is by far the worst goodwill I have ever gone too. Every time I go there, not only are clothes completely over-priced but nobody ever wants to help if I have a question and nobody is ever at the register. Aside from this, they sell products that dont work or are not functioning correctly. My last experience, I went there and bought five vhs tapes, two of which were $ 2 a piece for no apparent reason.(every other vhs is 50 cents) when I asked why, both the employee and the manager were unbelievably rude. I decided to purchase them anyway just to get out of there. Upon taking them home, THREE of the five didnt even work! When I went back to see if I could get a refund, the same manager was there, I simply stated they did not work and she said to go pick out three more. This eased me since I was expecting for her to say to bad so sad, but then when I reached the counter to show her the new movies she says to me, word for word, «Just so you know for next time, I will do this now because I dont want to deal with this, but for next time. goodwill does not refund or exchange any product.» This upset me. If they tested their products to begin with, she wouldnt have even had a problem. Ive worked in retail for years and never once would I say that to a customer. As if it was MYFAULT for purchasing their product. $ 3.50 or $ 350, when you receive something by donation and put a 200% markup on that product for resale the least you could do is make sure that product works. NEVER will I return.

I go to Goodwill on a fairly regular basis, especially during the holidays when I am looking for pieces to make into costumes. This Goodwill is less than a mile from my work so I decided to stop by to get my latest costume endeavor items. From outside it looks like a nice big location with a fancy(for Goodwill) glass door entrance. Upon going inside I found it to be quite busy for being 2 in the afternoon on a weekday. As I pushed through people as polietly as possible, I finally found and made it to the section I was aiming for. Selection wise it was about 3.5 stars. I indeed found what I had envisioned in my mind but it seemed like the layout caused for alot of confusion. Most of the confusion lies in the check out line. It is a narrow check out square near the entrance but is surrounded by racks of clothing that make it a very narrow space to wait patiently while they finish ringing up the next customer. As people wait the line becomes jumbled and people start to get very rude about who was there first. The staff was alright, but when you have a line of 7 plus people, there really should be more than one person on a register. I think next time I will skip convience and go to my local Goodwill near home.

I go to this Goodwill almost every weekend. The folks are friendly, and with luck and patience – you can score awesomely. Or at the very least, you can have fun trying some crazy 80s clothing, lol. I’ve had some incredible luck finding vintage Broyhill Brasilia, Sculptra and Saga pieces. Lady luck also got my a brand new, tags still attached Trina Turk dress as well as a genuine Goyard pouch. I was even able to score a Kent-Coffey mid-century mod bed set for a mere $ 100! Yay. But again, this happens once every 8 – 9 trips. Still so worth it.
