Hoa Da Herbal Medicine

Hoa Da has helped my spouse about her skin problems, she’s had problems for a very long time. They also helped me with my stomach cramps! We gave them a big thank you and a Merry Christmas.

This herb pharmacy is under new management by a woman named Michelle Tien Dao. I’ve personally known Tien for years, when she was working at Hoa Da Herbs before her promotion. Tien is an excellent business woman and a star of a healthcare practitioner. Tien is a licensed acupuncturist/​herbalist — I knew her when she was finishing her master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She was by far one of the most popular interns working in the student clinic at the time. She was also the most noble, helpful, honorable, ethical, and kind. Tien is fluent in English and her social skills are so perfect, you’d think she was born on American soil. She is working endlessly to integrate this wonderful pharmacy into the Greater Houston community. In terms of herb quality, Hoa Da Herbs makes a Dit Da Jow (a lineament for martial artists) which is the best I’ve found. I am a self defense practitioner and I highly recommend this product. It’s so good, it was worth navigating the rocks in the road back when this company had its growing pains. Please don’t be turned off by other reviews about this company and the problems others encountered in the past. If you receive a prescription from an acupuncturist/​herbalist, present your prescription to Hoa Da Herbal Medicine and ask for Tien’s assistance if there’s a communication issue. She will make sure you receive good care.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Unless you are Vietnamese or speak fluent Vietnamese.
They HATE english speaking people. Very rude at the front desk and kept saying to me, «Why don’t you go somewhere else??» I was very sick from taking their herbs and wanted someone to help me feel better since I had a 10 day migraine.
Unless you want to be yelled at when you are sick, avoid this place. It is a shame that the people in the front are so rude, the doctor is very nice.
They advertise that they speak and work with english speaking people, but they don’t care or like us.
