Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was amazing! Jeremy was an amazing server! Whenever I come back I will ask for him! The chicken cesar salad was really good and their house Sangria was the best I have ever had! Wish I would have tried a dessert. Oh! And the band was amazingggggggg!!!

Ate here one night before a show. If you spend $ 20 then you can get your receipt stamped to cut the line. The service is good, friendly, and our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu. The food comes out in a timely manner. This is good if you are going to a show. We tried the cornbread. I love the presentation in the cast iron skillet. It was moist but a lil crumbly, the butter is yummy. We both got the juicy lucy. Burgers were juicy, but not a lot of cheese. I was hoping for the oozing you can get with a juicy lucy. The bun was good and held up to the burger. We look forward to returning.

House of Blues? More like house of snooze. The food is delicious and the portions are nice, BUT the service is terrible. We were there for an hour and a half and the place was empty. The food took an hour to get to us and the server was scarce, yet polite. Still. Yummy yummy food.

I’ve only been here twice for concerts. The venue is ok, but I think if you’re too high in the balcony you really cannot see shit. We also paid almost $ 40 for 2 drinks, one of which was a double(take a wild guess who that was for). Seems a little pricey to me.

I’ve been to this establishment on several different occasions — from holiday parties to concerts. I’ve even been for brunch. This place has it all. The House of Blues has ample seating for concerts and standing room for private events. There are several different private rooms available for rent. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are beautiful. The food is just ok. It’s not anything fancy or especially great, but it’s edible. I would definitely go back here for other events. Reasonably priced and a darn good time.

Not got to complain but a fair warning… a(maybe) 18 oz margarita is $ 18. Luckily I had a free ticket but that definitely burned a hole. The venue is very clean, just a bit a small.

My tickets ended up being«standing room only.» When I asked for a chair the hostess suggested that I purchase a table for $ 200.00. The tickets stated that the show would start at 7:30. It finally started at 9:30. A Miller Lite cost $ 11.00. I gave it one star because most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Really fun evening at the House of Blues for an 80s cover band, The Molly Ringwalds. The bars were quick to acknowledge us and service us, I liked that they had 40oz beers available because that meant that we wouldn’t have to visit the bar with the same regularity as a 12oz beer. AND neato-mosquito they have beer koozies for forties! While super crowded for the show, we were able to find pockets large enough for 7 of us to stand and watch the show with limited visual impediments(there are a few pillars that ya just can’t avoid). Overall, a fun venue with good service in a good location.

Great venue to watch a band. Very intimate, good acoustics and tickets are very reasonable. But be prepared to make up for it with drinks. Very expensive. Otherwise, I would see all my favorite bands here. Like Bowling For Soup, which I saw last night. If you’ve never seen them live, I would highly recommend it. Five star band!

I have been to around 40 concerts in the Houston area. House of Blues has always been my favorite. You can get close enough to see the band, the sound is amazing and the seats all have a great view. The price is great for any show. My only complaint it the drink costs. BUT with the low ticket cost it evens out.

So disappointed with the peacock room. Horrible sound, standing room has horrible view of stage, stage is small and inconsistent with the ratio of the room although the bar is fine. Unreasonably cold air blasting on the back row. Not to mention my horrible experience in the restaurant part last Saturday! Ugh! The food was shoddy, I ordered drinks and the drinks came out wrong! Then the server got snappy! My first time every not tipping full 20%! Really relly disappointed!

Our waitress took her time to get to our table and to bring us drinks. It wasn’t too busy so we were surprised by the delays. Food is mediocre and over priced in my opinion. We got the burger and the chicken sandwich. I checked in via help, got 15% off my meal and my friends meal! Nice surprise! But overall too much hype.

I love this place for live music! We’ve been here often, so concerts usually have the GA section in front of the stage(wear comfortable shoes, because you’ll be standing a lot!). If you can spring for a a seat, there are some reserved spots in the back near the sound guy or upstairs. If you come for something like a comedy show, the front of the stage will have rows of seats set up. Either way the acoustics are fantastic. Whoever you see will sound amazing in there. The staff knows how to control the crowd and does a good job making sure all the behind the scenes runs flawlessly. They also have an eagle eye for anyone trying to light a cigarette or anything else. Drinks/food are a bit expensive so expect to pay $ 9 – 11 for a beer and a lot more for drinks. Restrooms are clean, and there’s usually a bathroom attendant in there.
