JN Salon

Very nice renovation inside, however very unpleasant new employees. Ive been going to this salon for years because its convinient, and even though it was not fancy, the ladies there, were very nice.
I just stopped by and it was messy inside, the manager was being rude to other customers and saying she didn’t give a «s…» about them. The owner is also very rude, definetely this salon is not what we are used to have in our neighborhood.

The salon had just undergone a renovation. Haircut prices has increased. Changed owner to a feisty & unpleasant Latino lady. This used to be my favorite salon, the bespectacled pleasant Vietnamese lady wasn’t there when we went. Will be shopping around for another salon.

I stopped in this weekend for a desperately needed haircut. Helen was great! She gave me the exact hair cut I wanted! I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and POOF! She produced it! She was also nice enough to point out that I needed an eyebrow wax (which I did). Not in an offensive way, but in the most helpful of ways. I like a hair dresser that will give me their honest opinion. If you need a hair cut and/​or an eyebrow wax, I fully recommend Helen! Very reasonably priced as well! I will go back to see Helen.

This Place is So bad, where do I start?
First off, I told the barber to cut the front of my hair, side & back about 1 inch. I didn’t want my hair too short and she cut atleast 2 ½ inches, Terrible… It couldn’t have been shorter, barber was rude and unfriendly telling me in an attitude to put my head down, it was an old Vietnamese lady who I communicated with an she still didn’t understand!
Then when I paid I took my wallet out and see saw the dollars bills I had in my wallet.
If I don’t like the hair cut you gave me I will Not give her a tip so I gave she her my debit card, not even looking at me she gave it back &she don’t even say thank you. I said thank you and leaved! It isn’t common courtesy to give your barber a tip like it is to give a tip after you eat at a restaurant, if you don’t want to then so be it but that women is rude & stupid.
She had her 3 small kids there on the computer just playing around .
Do Not go here! And last they charge $ 11 for a single hair cut when other places are cheaper and more professional!

Yes I know I have little hair but the little hair I have left, I sometimes need a clean up and trim! I’ve always had good experiences with J&N and everyone I have referred agrees. Shop is clean and when you make appointments you can get in and out quickly. If you live in the area, you should give the place a chance.

It’s hard to find a decent $ 10 haircut these days, but JN Salon is an exception. I’m not a chatty customer when I’m getting a trim, so I welcome the language barrier I sometimes run into here.
I’ve probably had my hair cut by each lady a few times, and it always looks good. Maybe I am biased, but my wife also acts like they look good. My profile picture will probably give you the information you need here.
When I got my hair cut for my wedding, my stylist (that sounds weird, maybe barbette?) took about an extra ½ hour to make sure everything was perfect. 10 bucks! I left a big tip for that one, of course.
The employees are all friendly, there’s rarely a wait for walk-​ins, and you can even leave an offering for Buddha at the front of the shop. I don’t go anywhere else.
