John H Krell, DDS

My first visit to John H Krell, DDS was about two weeks ago. The office is located off of Weslyan and Essex and has a convenient parking garage connected to the building. You take the elevator to the 11^th floor and find a beautifully decorated waiting room with teal/​brown décor, orchids, and a calming ambiance. You ring the door bell next to the office door to let them know you are there and then take a seat.
I was taken back and Lindsay took my x-​rays – 5 total, which was a pleasant surprise because I am used to having to take about 20. The last x-​ray was taken while I stood and the machine rotated around my head. After my cleaning, I swished the fluoride treatment, rather than having to do a tray with the nasty gel. I was then fitted for a complimentary whitening tray and a mouth guard to prevent grinding my teeth while I sleep. Lindsay was very sweet and personable. She did an excellent job gently cleaning my chompers.
Dr. Krell was out on vacation so I saw Dr. Matt Guerre, who was very kind. He and Lindsay did an excellent job explaining details of my examination. I have Aetna insurance and Dr. Krell was out of network for me, but Dr. Guerre was not, so I saved about $ 300 on my mouth guard as well. What a happy coincidence that was! Pam took my payment and was very friendly and welcoming.
I picked up my complimentary whitening tray and whitening accessories a week later. Two weeks later went in for my mouth guard fitting. The staff was wonderful for every visit. I’d recommend Dr. Krell and Matt Guerre to all of my friends and family in the Houston area.

Great office and they handle your dental needs with care. I highly recommend Dr Krell.

My Regular hygienist is very good. The practice is very up to date on the latest technologies. Dr. Matt Guerre is wonderful.

Been going here for over a decade and still love Dr. Krell and his staff. State of the art equipment and caring, friendly staff.

This place is great. Very modern equipment. Dr. Guerre is very nice and professional. I really like how I can confirm my appointments through texting. They give away a bleaching tray every time you go to get your checkup and cleaning. It’s very obvious every member of the team is there to make you feel welcome and comfortable from the lady in the front to the hygienists. I had 4 fillings today, and everything went very well. I didn’t feel a thing. I like that I was able to see my disgusting cavity up on the monitor.

Dr. Krell and his staff are wonderful. They have all the latest technology, making dental work as painless and quick as possible (crowns made on site, no-​drill fillings, cameras connected to TVs so he can show you what’s going on with your teeth, etc.). And the hygienists are gentle too. Plus, unlike other doctors, appointment times are respected, so it’s easy to get back to work on time.
