Karni Simon MD PA

On my wonderful trip throughout the East Houston Regional Medical Center, I came into Dr. Simon Karni’s office with high hopes of figuring out what was wrong with my tummy. Since I was referred to him by another doctor, I got in the same day without an appointment – always plus points for that. Considering I only had to wait about forty minutes, I was pretty happy to be squeezed in when his entire waiting room was full.
Dr. Karni was all business without being abrupt or rude. You could tell he was busy but he didn’t rush which made me appreciate his consultation even more. If you’re looking for an overly friendly doctor or someone to make small talk with, keep looking. But his competency was evident and he got the job done.
This is yet another time I wish Unilocal had half stars. I’d love to give this office 4.5 just for how amazing his staff is and how well they’re trained. I kid you not, they checked up on me every step of the way – even when I’d been referred onwards to other doctors. Seriously, you wanna talk about degrees of separation? These guys called me after I met with the urologist, after my ultrasound, after my CAT scan, and then again the next day just to check in on me. Seriously, that’s some dedication. And it was well appreciated by me since I’d been bumped around to so many doctors it was getting hard to keep track of all the people I’d met! This type of customer service was above and beyond what was necessary without being overbearing – that’s a pretty hard dance. Other offices could take notes from how wonderful Dr. Karni’s is run.
