So now they are acting as if they have no recollection of this scenario. I am not a «competitor». My big sister paid for the renovations as a gift to my parents. She still has the copy of the check and we still have the one page contract that was signed. I still have all text messages from Adriana and Celeste as well. It got so bad that Celeste gave me $ 200 bucks to go get a massage to make up for the headaches endured.

I wish I had read the Unilocal reviews first I may not of gone here. I understand now that the time frame that they gave me was very short but I’m not a contractor and when you tell me my job can be done in one week it makes me very very unhappy for it to take two weeks. And beat the rush before the other sales happened on the weekend. I was told this would get the fabricator out to our house in just a day or two but that took a week and that this would get our materials in faster because we would beat the rush. My cabinet makers and plumber and electrician were all on hold for an extra week not to mention I had an extra week without use of my kitchen. Just like another Unilocaler my phone calls would not be returned soon my text messages were not returned and the promise that my countertops would be installed immediately turned out to mean immediately plus one week.

I can only assume they are not honest or they have no concept of communication. After ordering a quartz slab 2 months ago and not having received one bit of info on my order despite, 3 phone messages(they never answer during regular business hours) the last simply stating nicely that even if the news is bad, I’d still like a response, two emails(no response) and one promise of a callback from the owner in mid December(she didn’t), I don’t know where the heck my slab is –or isn’t. My first instinct after my initial visit was to go elsewhere – a simple request to a young male salesman to send me some photos of two pre fab counter slabs(my phone was dead) went ignored, a subsequent visit with a snippy young woman left me irritated but a third visit with the owners(who were very nice) who gave me a good price for a great product, swayed my decision. In retrospect, I should have just ordered at Home Depot who had a higher minimum square foot order threshold. Sorry KBDM you had your chance so now my credit card company can hash it out with you. A word to Unilocalers, tread lightly…

Was very nice to get an apology call for the rude conversation the other day, however, the quote given was still significantly more($ 300) than the company’s we ended up going with. She did offer to work with me, but we already chose another company to fulfill the job; plus, I really didn’t see the price coming down more than $ 300. I also want to note: for companies who require customers to have purchases installed by the company, you should also offer the option for customers to pick the items up and/or have them delivered. Not all customers who buy home renovation products lack the knowledge and intellect to install themselves. There should really be more purchase options available to accommodate customers with home renovation knowledge.

I came to their showroom 2 weeks ago to initial look at granite countertops but saw that they were a one stop shop. They showed us the quartz countertop which I ended up falling in love withFirst off, their showroom is beautiful. We were greeted kindly by the owners themselves and decided to went with them. The day of the install, the installers showed up around 30 minutes late so I got worried but when they came they started working immediately. They took a bit longer than I expected but everything ended up coming out perfectly. Overall, my countertops are gorgeous and I am very glad I went with them. Ask for Eli, he will definitely take care of you.
