The French Toast is my absolute favorite item on the menu. No other restaurant tops theirs as far as flavor, texture and consistency.

I’ve heard a lot about this place over the years but never stopped in to eat. So when a friend invited me to breakfast, I suggested ale Peep. The food did not disappoint; nice selection of menu items for breakfast and the service was quick. Prices are reasonable and the service above average. I will return soon to checkout more selections on their breakfast menu.
Pros: The breakfast was good and healthy options are available. Cons: However, the inside of the restaurant looks kind of dirty and the bathrooms are disgusting.

Great food and really amazing service– this place is proof that you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg just to have a good breakfast. My husband is typically very hard to please, but at the end of the meal, he asked to speak with a manager just to complement the food, service, and the establishment. There was also a good size menu with a nice variety of foods including a nice selection of health conscious foods. I had the fresh fruit(which was perfect) and the granola almond pancakes – sounds weird but it was really great!

Everytime i came here I think«why I don’t came more often?» It’s near my workplace but it’s wonderful. Only breakfast and lunch.(Ohh I wish it was open the whole day!). It’s perfect for groups and for a table just for one. The place is nice, clean, comfortable, music(low enough to be ok), the people is always smiling, they speak English and Spanish. The menu have a lots of options(so difficult to decide!). Healthy options and the others ;) The pancakes are soft and big. The quesadilla chicken are perfect. The Caesar salad came with a delicious special bread. The California turkey sandwich is marvelous. The lemonade water is complimentary, and the marmelade as well. The coffee is a pot and you can drink it all! Everything is big, tasty and fresh. And cheap!!! I love this place and its people!

Nothing about my visit day makes me want to go back. Used to be better. Getting seated in a timely fashion is apparently an unheard of concept. Several staffers just stood up front talking among themselves and seemed to think making us wait another 30 minutes was a better idea than pushing some tables together to accommodate our party AFTER they gave our original table away to a party that came in after us. The Omni omelette was just ok and on the small side. All jelly options contained high fructose corn syrup. Meh

Service was nice, everyone was kind! I ordered the lumberjack which included 2 pancakes, bacon, eggs and potatoes. Eggs were good and not dry which is a plus! Pancakes were really big! Very good as well, not sure if it was the syrup or the pancakes but it was sweet and left a nice after taste. Potatoes were good as well. Loved the coffee! I’m not from Houston but I will come back if I visit again!

I work next door and frequently call in for take out for breakfast and lunch. The staff is always courteous, the food is always hot and fresh, and never had a bad experience. I am especially fond of their hot pastrami sandwich, and their fries and side salad always compliment your meal very well. Keep up the great job, Le peep!!!

I love breakfast food and this place hit the SPOT. JUSTSAYING. The pancakes are ginormous and when they’re filled with blueberries and bananas you can’t resist to eat every bite. The lumber jack breakfast is huge and reasonably priced. The best part is they are open«my breakfast hours«till 3pm on Saturday !

I came here for breakfast and it wasn’t very busy. It was probably too early; I came before 8AM. I ordered a waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, as well a s a grapefruit juice(freshly squeezed)! The waffle was crispy on the outer ring but somewhat soggy towards the middle of the waffle. There could have been a more generous portion of the fresh strawberries, although I did appreciate the whipped cream on a side in a cup so the hot waffle wouldn’t melt it. They also served a cup of melted butter on the side which I thought was odd(I didn’t use it). Pretty average breakfast, and it was a bit pricy; post-tax came to be $ 13.59; the waffle was $ 9 percent-tax and the large grapefruit juice was $ 3+. I might come back to try their egg benedicts, but pass on the waffle!

I really enjoy this place. The food is fresh, not greasy nor has that cheap diner, where everything cooked on the same flat grill, taste. I usually order a breakfast dish. This visit I ordered the Mother Earth(6 egg whites scrambled with turkey and fresh veggies, a cup of fruit, and English muffin) and the eggs were moist and fluffy. I also got to enjoy one of the best biscuits I have ever had thanks to my gluten-free friend. His loss was my gain(probably on my thighs)! Looking forward to the next visit when I order a blueberry pancake!

Le Peep was a good olé’ breakfast/lunch place that had that home cooking kind of feel. It’s a nicer version of Ihop/Dennys as far as the food is concerned. I came with my family and boyfriend, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The menu had a ton of options, from plain breakfast, to healthy options, omelets, pancakes, and specialties. it covered all the basics. The service was super quick! I think we had our food out to us within 5 – 10 minutes of ordering. We were super impressed! It’s not somewhere I’d pick all the time, but for a good plain breakfast place I’d pick between Le Peep, House of Pies, and Fountain View Café any day.

I really don’t know why this place is so busy. My first impression when I walked in was… this place is old and smells. It was only a 15 min wait, so we decided to just stay. I ordered the biscuit & gravy, it was mediocre. My idea of biscuit is flaky, not soft like bread. And the gravy tastes like it came from a jar. My husband got the lumberjack breakfast and it was good. The pancakes are nice & fluffy. Overall, the service was good, the food ok, but facility is old/outdated(hence the 2 stars).

I’ve really enjoyed all my visits to Le Peep’s. It’s my go-to place for breakfast. I usually get their pancakes, but I’ve tried their omelets, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, and coffee. It’s all delicious. I’ve always gone late morning, early afternoon and the wait has never been too bad. Maybe 10 minutes. They serve free Katz’s coffee and water to those who are waiting. The atmosphere is fun and casual. Nice patio outside for outdoor seating and plenty of benches for people while they wait for a table. It’s between Highland Village and the Galleria, so it’s a perfect place to go with a girlfriend and do some shopping after. Private parking lot shared with one other restaurant. I’ve always been able to find a spot. I will definitely continue to go to Le Peep’s!

Meal was great but was caught off guard when I walked in. With a name like Le Peep, I assumed this was going to be a somewhat fancier breakfast place but instead, it looks like a slightly nicer Denny’s. This is in no way saying the food was like that but the look and feel of the place was nothing special at all. We came here on a Saturday late morning with a party of 9 and they told us about a 30 minute wait. They have coffee and water for everyone while you wait so it made it go by nice and quickly. The menu has a wide variety of options to please everyone and food is brought out pretty quickly. Couple thins to note: Their fresh squeezed OJ really needs some better oranges. My was not very sweet at all. Also, food portions are a pretty good size, so feel free to share your meal if you aren’t to hungry. Great breakfast place, and very accommodating.

I’ve been here a couple times already for their breakfast menu! Everything is usually good. I usually get their Southern Benedict. Chicken was a little dried, even drenched in the sauce. It was filling! Great breakfast place! Not like a Denny’s!

Everything this place serves is Nasty! Order egg whites with turkey, you get processed turkey out of the pack in scrambled egg whites from a carton. Order orange juice, get watered down orange juice. Order a turkey pattie, get an burned up seemingly under cook pattie of what they say is turkey… I know this sounds oximoranic but only this place can be so conflicted. Please don’t order grits, they are watered down. Ive eaten better grits laying in a hospital bed. Order potatoes you say, well they come straight out of a bag and microwaved., What’s left? order the pancakes but after the 3rd bite you’ll loose your desire because of all the other nasty food on your table. This restaurant doesn’t take the time to cook anything. What happened to cooking breakfast? Please chop your potatoes, Crack your eggs, provide quality orange juice, slice your turkey breast etc… please fire the person in charge of the menu…
