Marble Slab Creamery

I always pass by here when I’m come to Target but never stopped until today. I normally go to Baskin Robins but this place is awesome. My daughter and I came in after grabbing some dinner and we had a small cup of our favorite ice cream and it was pleasantly tasteful. I had the cookies and cream with sprinkles and walnuts it was fresh and mixed to my liking. My daughter had the chocolate Swiss and she finished it really quick. I could tell she enjoyed hers as well. I will be back when I’m in the area.

Clean, good customer service, and a variety of flavors.

Never thought I’d spend much time in an ice cream shop, but I really like the Marble Slab ice cream. Especially when its cold outside… weird I know. The place is really clean, and not full of knickknacks. The staff has been very friendly and is willing to give out multiple samples. I have a couple favorites I usually order… praline/​butter pecan or strawberry… vanilla and cheesecake or white chocolate are good as well. I like that they don’t charge for mixers anymore. I like to get a cup and chill out by the bayou.
If you want to add scoops of butterfingers, heath bars, oreos etc, it really helps if you want a mid-​afternoon sugar coma nap.

Great customer service and great selection. Only complaint is that my waffle bowl was stale and so was my husband’s. Other than that though it was so delicious. We tried the salted caramel cake and it was amazing!!! Definitely my new favorite :)

My friends and I tried going Wednesday night a little after 9 since they close at 10 but when we pulled up everything was put up and a piece of paper with sharpie writing was put over the hours sign saying their hours were until 9 not 10pm. While we were googling other places to go eat ice cream in the area another car with 2 girls pulled up, walked up to the door, saw the make shift sign, and left mad as well. We went to menchies a few miles away. They were open until 10.

5 STAR ICE CREAM… But the chick didn’t give me my 10% Facebook check-​in discount that’s boldly written in Damn board behind her (after she and i discussed it… the whole time she was mixing my ice creams mind you). And after I showed her my Damn checkin. WTF? I spend about $ 50-​$ 100 a month there, for real. 10% is a sig-​fig!

I grew up with Marble Slab so I have always been partial to it over Amy’s or Cold Stone or these newer fro-​yo spots (TCBY was the shizzo in my day!).
Took some little ones here for a treat and my older sister and I also indulged ourselves (for nostalgia purposes only): Coffee ice cream + Heath bar. (I accidentally typed in «health,» ha!) YUM!
My nieces have never been to a place like this (this fact almost made me disown my big brother) and it was so fun when they asked the guy behind the counter what the «rules» were. «There are no rules at Marble Slab» YES! the got a little crazy with the ice creams and topping combos and loved watching the dude whip it up.
We sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine while polishing off our frozen treats. A perfect end to a great date!

Congratulations on surviving the crowds at the sawyer park target supercenter now proceed to the nearest marble slab creamery to reward yourself.
Who needs a review for a marble slab? Thats what i was asking myself while considering this post. But when businesses take the time to hire the right people to represent their business than we should take the time to let them know what we think even if its positive because too often the only feedback we ever give is negative feedback.
Nothing negative to say about this marble slab franchise. Conveniently positioned in sawyer park next to freebirds it offered me a quick pit stop 3 times already in the last month to cool my feet from the hot summer sun and dip into something that not only cools you off but is delicious.
The place of business was clean, the trash outside was not overflowing and nasty which is what you usually see outside of an ice cream parlor. As for the ice cream, there is nothing negative to say about ice cream. If your unsure that you’ll like a particular flavor ask for a sample. And if you order the wrong kind than you have nothing to blame but yourself. But given marble slabs options for goodies and toppings how could anyone screw this up and get it wrong?
the 3 occassions i have visited this particular marble slab after moving back to houston i have ALWAYS been greeted promptly and the young employees all seemed happy to be at work and serving me. Verbally greeting a customer is one thing but making eye contact with them and opening up and engaging them in educated and friendly conversation is another. All 3 visits have been positive experiences with me and the storefront was never annoyingly packed nor did we have to wait in a long line to get serviced.
No fancy gimmicks, no over-​use of memoribilia, just a clean storefront with great service and rich great tasting ice cream. Me, i’m a creature of habit, so i am guilty of ordering the same ice cream at marble slab that i get everytime, and that, is a secret.
For fun with a loved one or child try and see if anyone (if possible) can make it out of the marble slap without saying Mmmmmm.

Fun place great treats

I never really have been a fan of ice cream shops. But this place caught my attention when I heard they had Cheesecake ice cream. I had to try, so I did, and I loved it. Rich in flavor and creaminess. I then tried it in a milkshake, 3 scoops of cheesecake ice cream, and 1 of either butter pecan or raspberry. I can’t get enough.

The ice cream here is great! I love all the choices of mixins because there’s so many. They have a wide variety of ice cream flavors. This is a great place to stop by and get ice cream! :)

I’m not sure if it’s just because the location is new or what… but the kiddos behind the counter at this location are so super friendly! I love my Marble Slab and I’d visit regardless, but such great and happy service really makes me a happy customer.
