My friends and I love going to this place. Staff are nice and very informative. They let you sample different flavors before choosing so that’s nice. I don’t think I saw anyone that was not in love with their flavors of choice so I can’t wait to come back again and try the rest. Very good yogurt and pleasant people.

Always love Menchies. For all my fellow lactose intolerant people, their sorbets are always amazing. There’s only like 2 choices, but still. I love it. Took 3 friends there and they loved it too. Although they didn’t exactly love the choices, they enjoyed their time there.

This place is disgusting! Why do people eat here? Total waste of money, I sampled practically every flavour, they mostly tasted the same, the flavour of nastiness. It’s just plain cheap tasting.

They have good flavors that they switch out. The toppings are stale sometimes. They leave taste cups out which is convenient and there usually isn’t a crowd. They have seating indoors and outdoors which is nice to eat froyo and relax. Plenty of parking too.

Not as many flavors as other menchies but still good. Menchies is better than any other froyo spot.

The flavors rotate without any kind of rhyme or reason, but they always have something good on hand. If you haven’t tried the latest thing, they have a ton of little tasting cups, but you have to be quick on the lever to make sure you don’t just dump a bunch of yogurt down the drain. Their topping selection is at least as good as any other frozen yogurt bar in town, and their flavors are too. My girlfriend absolutely loves the place and we seem to swing by almost weekly. They’re also sponsors of the Houston Dynamo, which we really appreciate.

Now… the frozen yogurt is always very good here. There are good flavors, which rotate on a regular basis; my wife likes the lower-sugar offerings. I like the sorbets that they make available, as my lactose intolerance forces me to look for such things. However, this particular location was dirty: the tables weren’t cleaned off, and there was only one person manning the cash register where a very busy crowd was in the store. I think the owners of this location should pay more attention to cleanliness and appearance. There needed to be more than one person manning the store: this kind of thing discourages repeat customers.

This is probably the worst froyo place I have ever been. The staff isn’t particularly friendly, the place is downright dirty, and I am just not a fan of their flavors. It is also an amazingly small venue where you constantly bump into other customers and there is hardly any place to sit. Prices are also higher than any other froyo place I have been to. Just not a whole lot of good to be had here. Their one saving grace is that they are the only froyo place for miles in either direction

Not the greatest frozen yogurt in the world or the friendliest froyo staff, but it gets the job done. This Menchie’s is closer to my house than any Yogurtland locations so I settle occasionally and come here. There selection is large for yogurts and toppings, but the yogurt flavor a and consistency just isn’t that of some competitors. If ya need a froyo fix, Menchie’s is ok, but it’s not quite on par with some other places.

The Froyo wasn’t bad. Some of the machines were not dispensing yogurt. The saving grace of Menchie’s was the toppings bar. Toppings from the normal to Andes, different types of chocolate chips, and fresh fruit. Seriously on point. I thought was a bit overpriced for froyo(~0.50/oz). I asked for a cup of water(they didn’t have a self serve station) and was given warm tap water in a froyo cup… The interior is decorated well, but it was a little too warm inside. My friend and I left immediately after we finished our froyo. I don’t think I would go back again. TL;DR Not bad froyo, the location itself needs some work

Menchies is my second favorite, with yogurtland being my all time fave. However, the peanut butter sauce at Menchies is amazing!

Ok so i wouldnt say its the best because i’ve had better. I just went a few days ago and had red velvet with waffle chips topping. They dont have lots to choose from. Gummy bears and oreo is so cliché! For a chain and all the hype and the colorful environment, they should create more variety with flavors and toppings. Not too impressed. Sorry

52 cents per ounce is hefty, but I think it’s because this is a well known chain across the US. The consistencies of the yogurts are dense and creamy, so that’s good. They offer flavors from strawberry, mango to cookies ‘n cream and chocolate. The cashiers are friendly, and there’s an outdoor patio at this location. All in all, this is reliable, but not the best bang for your buck.

Very friendly staff with lots of yogurt flavors and toppings galore. The establishment was on the dirty side, the two tables that were open, were covered in sticky yogurt and long black hairs, ick!

If you want a bunch of unique sweet toppings, this is the place to go! Menchie’s has the most number of candy toppings I’ve seen at fro-yo shops. There are things like chocolate rocks, peach rings, cheesecake bites, chocolate covered sunflower seeds, and shell topping(the best). The fro-yo itself was okay. I liked the original tart flavor, but it was pretty icy. The other flavors lean toward the sweet side, so this is definitely a place to satisfy your sweet tooth. Apparently on Mondays 7−9pm, they have a deal where you can fill up your cup as much as you want for $ 5! That’s a pretty good deal, especially since the pricing here is kinda high.

I love Menchie’s. All Menchie’ses(what is the plural of Menchie’s???). It’s my favorite frozen yogurt place(and Lord knows there are plenty to choose from) because it’s always clean and there’s such an abundant VARIETY of frozen yogurt flavors and TOPPINGS! I live for the toppings. I know, I could just eat a candy bar, but it’s so much more fun when it’s crushed on top of frozen yogurt! This particular Menchie’s is too small, in my opinion. The area behind the counter, where you get the yogurt, is so narrow and a nightmare when it’s full of high-maintenance West U/Bellaire people. Just kidding, I love those people. Menchie’s employees are always friendly. I like the colorful spoons, the Menchie’s mascot, and the rewards card. I seriously almost always want Menchie’s. Writing this review has made me crave it right now. Dang it!

Plenty of parking, but less flavors than some other Menchie’s locations in Houston!

Staff is always friendly no matter what location I go to and I love the cute set-up. The topping selection is great — wide variety of healthy fruits and sweets. Downside is the flavor selections are not always the best(some don’t taste like the description or are too tarty for my taste buds) and the froyo consistency is okay(melts quickly). Menchie’s does offer chocolate covered waffle cones which are heavenly and«free»(but since everything is based on weight, not so much). Also, not sure if all the locations do this but, the one on Weslayan offers a Red Rocket Discount — discount off your fro-yo anytime the Rockets win! It’s pretty awesome as you can get a decent amount of fro-yo and toppings for free with the amount of the discount(dollar amount, not a percentage). So, any place that offers a Red Rocket Discount is a friend of mine!

After a full week of being sick, I was pretty stir-crazy. I managed to convince the fiancé that the best cure for my sore throat would be frozen yogurt, so off we went to try Menchie’s. Having been to the one in Los Angeles, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I tasted the strawberry and raspberry and both tasted very artificial and gross. The blue raspberry was equally gross, but I should have known and that was my fault so I can’t hold that against Menchie’s. I settled for the plain tart which was ok but overall just not impressed. After toppings, our yogurts were reasonably priced(about $ 4 each) and I used the check in offer for 10% off. The girls working were very nice, they have a good selection of toppings, and the location was clean and easy to find, so not totally negative, but it wasn’t as good as I remembered, and not as good as our normal yogurt place.
