Why is it that all Houston Public Libraries are so small?! Am I the only one that realizes this? Oh, well I have a few things to complain much about as I enjoy the county libraries instead. This library was of course tiny and cramped. The children’s side was a lot quieter than the adult side which seemed strange to me, but a group of ladies were having a meeting and was speaking in Spanish very loudly. So, that means they don’t have much room for study rooms or meeting rooms like most county libraries have. The lady staff was a lot nicer than the man that works like here. I overheard the man griping down this patron’s throat because the patron didn’t understand something and the man staff kept on correcting the patron. Basically the man staff was being as rude as he could until the patron left upset. It seemed like lion’s fight in reality. Anywho, the study desks aren’t very big and the chairs aren’t cushioned. The parking lot is big and as it doesn’t seem like much people come here. Although, around 3pm when the high schoolers let out, they seemed to be loitering outside the library, some of them laying on the ground… I would mention this isn’t the best place to study for school or college classes.
