Mortgages Direct

During my last home buying process, I worked alot with Brian and wanted to recommend him as a great choice for your lending needs. Truth be told, I did not get my lending from Mortgages Direct because I went with a friends/​family plan, but if that option were not available to me, Brian would have received my business. His rates were competitive, he was quick to respond and provide very useful feedback. I can not speak highly enough about his customer service and his upfront honest approach to mortgage lending.

I’ve used Brian twice in the past 1.5 years. His rates are competitive. I shopped around on my first mortgage, and it was essentially the same or better than other quotes. He’s also very knowledge and explains the whole mortgage process in simple terms, which was appreciated when I was buying my first house.
But more important than price and knowledge is customer service. And let me tell you, Brian gets it done. Done on time and done well. He always treated me as if I was his most important client, which was generous because I wasn’t the easiest to reach!
Next time I need a mortgage, I’ll definitely use Brian again.

I did not use mortgages direct to close on my first time home purchase but worked very closely with Brian Crawford at mortgages direct until I made the mistake of choosing another lender, a big bank. The big bank was horrible in their customer service, communications, and timeliness, whereas Brian really was stellar in each of these in my numerous conversations with him. I shopped around quite a bit and went with the big bank on account of their promotional offer but experienced so many setbacks that I wish i’d gone with Brian instead. As long as the rate they offer you is competitive, go with a good service provider. I underestimated the importance of good service and should’ve considered lenders like MD that would’ve closed us on time most likely and would’ve saved us lots of headaches. In talking to numerous coworkers that have closed on homes recently, they all recommended staying away from big banks due to their poor service, and I wish I’d done that. Did I mention i wish I hadn’t chosen the big bank? :) After reaching out to numerous lenders and brokers both locally and nationally and hearing back from them, no one in the mortgage business will be as responsive and patient with you as Brian, I’m convinced. He is a good person to work with, great attitude, honest, and full of integrity. He came recommended from a good friend that recently closed with Brian and I should’ve just listened to my friend.

When I shopped for mortgage loans for the first time, I didn’t know where to begin. So, naturally, I asked my friends, family, and searched the internet for referrals. Through this search, my friends and family recommended: BBVA, Wells Fargo, Chase, and Zeus Mortgage. I stumbled upon Mortgages Direct via BBB’s A+ Rating. I called each one of these companies for quotes and information on mortgages and a lot of them were really good at providing good service with good quotes, but there was one person who just took service, product pricing, and professionalism to a level higher than the others. That person was Brian Crawford.
Brian works very hard for you because he wants to earn your business. He goes FAR beyond any other business to make sure you are satisfied. He’s been a man of his word and really follows through on what he says. He will also take the time to educate you on all the ins-​n-​outs of the loan so that you understand every thing that is being charged to you, etc. He answers his calls and returns them promptly if he doesn’t get it the first time. He’s really what you expect out of a mortgage lender, but MORE!
I definitely would use Brian Crawford and Mortgages Direct again because of the exemplary service provided and the very competitive pricing on the loans. My only fear is that reviews like this one will drive more business to him and I won’t be able to get a hold of him when I want to refinance or something in the future… But, he’s one of those good guys that I’ll vouch for and really deserve the business for all the good work he does. Please consider Brian and Mortgages Direct the next time you refinance or do a loan, he’s really, really good!

As a Realtor, I’ve had clients that have used Brian for over 12 years. He thoroughly explains the process, and buyers are always happy with the low interest rates, and fees. He always has papers at the closing table in time, and makes sure the process is as easy on the buyer, as possible, in today’s difficult loan business. Brian is the man. We too have used him 3 times w/​o much of a hitch. Extremely knowledgeable on the everchanging laws affecting mortgage lending. My last refi was insanely cheap, still can’t beleive my closing costs. A must call before you lock with anybody else.
