Nature Dog Photography

I love Nature Dog Photography! They took our pictures for our Christmas card this past year and they turned out great! They were so patient with getting our 3 dogs to cooperate during the shoot. They have big hearts for dogs and do great probono work for AARF Houston to help them get their dogs adopted!

Excellent photographers who somehow were able to get our dogs to pose long enough to get amazing pictures! Lorena and Rick were so easy to work with and our dogs loved them. They went to extreme lengths to get our dogs all together for a few seconds to get the perfect shot. We ordered a large canvas and a 5×7″ of each of our dogs to hang on the wall because they came out so well. The great thing about the packages are that you get 15 (or 30) digital pictures, so once you choose them, the pictures are yours to do whatever you want with. We used these pictures for many family Christmas gifts!
The reason we chose Nature Dog Photography was for a few reasons:
–We have 3 dogs and most photographers charge extra for more than 2. Lorena and Rick only charge extra for more than 3, so this worked out great for us.
–We knew that if we took our 3 dogs (after paying extra) to a photographer’s studio, they would most likely be difficult to control since they were out of their home and uncomfortable, so there was a lower chance we would get any really good pictures. Nature dog is set up to come to YOU. Whether that’s at your house, at your favorite park, or somewhere else, it’s up to you so that the dogs feel the most at ease.
–They offer a discount for rescue dogs since they feel so strongly about helping these dogs and since all 3 of ours are rescues, we were able to use this discount. We actually met Lorena and Rick at a doggie fun run where they were promoting their business and got a deeper discount on the package as well (so if you see them at a dog-​friendly event, go check them out!)
All in all, a great couple who is passionate about what they do and is super easy to get along with. They were somehow able not only to get great pictures, but to capture each dog’s personality in the shots! We would recommend them to anyone who wants some lasting memories for years to come :)
