Nene’s is a lot like Tampico. It’s a little shack that serves shaved ice, elotes, and other snacks at a really low price, attracting families from around the area. I noticed no particularly unique shaved ice flavors, and the ice isn’t shaved as nicely as Mam’s. However, service is fast, and there’s something to be said for that. I’ve only been once, but I will probably stop by again, so look for an update later.
