Decent neighborhood bar. $ 4.50 for a domestic bottled beer seems pricey to me. It would be nice if they posted what was going on, what specials were running SOMEWHERE besides just their sign in front.

Sat here for about 10 mins and no wanted to provide waiting service so I just left. Never had this problem when I went here like 2 years ago.

Best burgers around! Daily lunch specials are great. Daily drink specials 11 – 7. Casual friendly everyone knows each other. Great place to stop in for a drink after work.

Not far from home plus me and my boyfriend have great times here. Not overly priced on drinks.

Cool dive bar! I’ve passed this place up for years, but decided to go with a co worker to shoot some pool. It was an a Thursday evening around 5, so it wasn’t crowded. Service was good, only $ 8 for pitchers of Bud Light and pool was a dollar a game. I’m want to check this place out on a game day to see what its like.

Nicks Sports Bar is a disgrace to sports bars across the world. We got here in a group and were treated like scum. These people decided to have a pool tournament, poker tournament, Rock Band all while the first game of the playoffs for the Houston Rockets was on. Talk about chaos! Definitely didn’t plant accordingly! Also the pool players were absolutely disrespectful and rude! They offered us a seat to sit down and then scolded us for sitting their. WTH! We were asked to move our table and did but it was so crowed that when we tried to move someones sticks fell… talk about stank face! Ew. Then the people behind us just started moving my friend’s chair while she was in the chair! Total lack of organization, communication, and respect. I will never be going back there and my friends will not either. We couldn’t believe the level of classic douche baggery that we received there. They were definitely scummy people with no respect or regard for anyone but themselves.

I always enjoy myself here at this place. The drinks are cheap and great! You probably won’t need more than one and two is stretching it lol. Me and my girlfriends enjoy ourselves every time whether it’s packed or empty. Definitely make sure after a few shots u do a little karaōke !

Been here to many times to count but on friday night we go with a minimal crowd and have a great time until a bar tender charges us $ 30 for 2 blu mfrs drinks No sir I have never paid that much he later returned my change because he over charged us … good looking cause i was not gonna return but I’ll be back next week!!!

Was at Nick’s last night and actually had a really good time with friends. Laid back environment, welcoming clientele, and fair prices. It was a nice way to spend the evening until it was time to leave. I paid my tab and as I was walking out the bartender Jim through something at be almost hitting the lady I was with and yelled f@&k you from behind the bar. Apparently he was unhappy with the fact that I had dated his ex. No matter his reason his behavior was unprofessional at best and criminal at worse. I will not be back so long as Jim is employed. It’s common knowledge that Jim is a fan of the white stuff and I’m sure that contributes to his unpredictable behavior. I’m shocked the owners tolerate it.

This place is awesome and not just because I’m a Packers fan! It’s a great atmosphere with amazing staff. Plenty of tv’s all around plus a few pool tables. They have these mouth watering cheese curds that they have imported from WI. This is where I will be both on and off football season!

Being from Wisconsin and stuck in Houston for work for a couple of months, I decided to go to Nick’s because they tout themselves as being home of the Packers fan club and pre-​season started today. I didn’t want to miss the game so I made the trip to westchase. Well they were streaming the game but their internet sucked so the game kept stopping. So frustrating! To top it off, the «fan club» members didn’t seem to be bothered by this at all! I ended up leaving and straining it at home with better internet. Won’t be making this trip again.

It’s a bar on the corner of a shopping strip. What else is there to say? Small place: poker tables, pool tables (take up most of the space), tables and small L-​shaped bar. Only go because a friend’s band plays here. Good for regulars and Packer fans during football season.

Packer fan here, this place is AMAZING! Mostly in that it host the Packer fan club of Houston for the games and they let those cats run wild. People up on tables at every touch down throwing things into the crowd, DJ emceeing the event, cheers for every play, lots of tvs everywhere, super packed, but everyone was so nice! My husband’s family is Steelers fans so we’ve been to Steel City in spring quite a few times (now closed), but the fan experience just doesn’t compare! If you want to join in, best to get there early as the place is standing room out the door (although we were there for a playoff game so maybe there were more people there than normal). Parking is a nightmare — we risked it and parked across the street in the grocery parking lot. Didn’t get towed so that’s a plus.

When we walked in here, we thought we had transcended the solar system and current universe, and entered into a parallel world in some other dimension. And the dimension we were in was not a good one. It was Sunday afternoon during foot ball season and there were a few hundred crazed fans who were evidently cheering for some team from that other dimension. I knew this from the bizarre and distorted expressions on their faces, their swinging round and round of some sort of noise making device, and their nonstop screaming in what appeared to be some other tongue. It appeared that they were drinking some beverage heretofore unknown in the universe and dimension that my friend and i reside in.
After standing inside this remote outpost, which I believe was located in some foreign domain in this parallel universe, we decided to leave, before the inhabitants of this establishment could draw their plans against us, which could have resulted in us being transported to this parallel world permanently.

jamin live band, lots of green dr seuss hats and the occasional lucky charm beard. heads are noddin and hips are swayin. in the robot sense. hey it was early. The people are easy going, rowdy and aren’t afraid to yell out F yea with a green beer in hand. awesome st pattys party.
The venue is surprisingly bigger than you would expect. couches and dart board in the small lounge to the left as you enter, and a bar straight ahead from the door way. To the right, you’ll find 2 giant screen tvs with 4 smaller ones to get every possible angle of a packers game. behind the gathering area, are a few pool tables to retire to once the commercials are on and just outside is another patio area for the smokers to get some fresh air. Everything is reasonably priced and you don’t get any of the judgemental vibe you might get at other places. This place is truly about the easy going rowdy cheesehead no matter the age.
Its definitely a great place for groups to meet up at.
The food is definitely better than what you would expect in most bar places. I had the sampler with fried mushrooms, jalepeno poppers, fries and cheesesticks. Not too greasy or oily. Just hot and crisp as they should be. When i picked up a fried mushroom, i thought it was a hush puppy, only be to greeted with a super hot mushroom from the breaded gift wrapping goodness.

I can’t stand playing here, and wouldn’t consider the place if we didn’t have dart league here. I’ve seen too many unsavory characters walking by the place, and the clientele is almost as bad. I’ve been approached by a dealer a time or two. Not cool.
On the plus side, prices are relatively good. I beer won’t cost you an arm and a leg. The food is mediocre, but moderately priced. They’ve got more boards than usual, 4 to be exact, and a ping pong table that they bring out from time to time.
Tuesday nights, they’ve got an open mike night. Not the best planning, as that’s also dart night, but the music ins’t bad for an open mike. They’ve also got a pool league, which is always interesting to watch.
If this place cleaned up, I’d bump it up to four stars, but until then, I’m generous giving it two.

if your a packer fan like me this is your place to be on a sunday. trust me packer fan’s only cuz it get’s wild wow you think texans fan are crazy please!!! you havent seen nothing yet but the restroom’s need to be extended a lot more. but its cool other than that.
