I was craving something sweet so I came to Unilocal to see what was near me and I found this little gem! It has been around for 15 years and I can see why. I got the vanilla cake with buttercream icing and… Wow… just wow!

I would like to say their desserts are good but their customer service is horrible. They need to be organized when taking orders and should be done at the requested time for pick up.

Ahhhh maaaa zing! We just got the cutest cake for a lingerie shower. The top layer was fondant and bottom layer, butter cream. The cake was outstanding taste and presentation wise. I highly recommend giving this place a try. I can’t wait to order something for the next event!

hahahahaha this sweet potato cheesecake. If you every wish somebody would cherpumple with cheesecake, do it here. The edges were a little overbrowned but I suspect that was so the inside could be absolutely. Perfect. Spicy. Moist. And the bottom crust on the cheesecake was pretty solid.

The best bakery ever! They whipped up a cake in less than 8 hours for us for an unexpected event and it was delicious!!!

The donuts weren’t that great/tasty, but their german chocolate mini bundt cake will bless your soul. It was absolutely dee-lish. Worth every calorie I consumed!

These people are way overpriced for what they serve. I ordered a 2 tier SQUARE vanilla cake with white icing and told them I wanted gumpaste flowers all over the cake. They charged $ 190 for that. Then when it was delivered, it was nothing more than a 2 tier rounded cake with some damn white icing on it… r u kidding? I could done that. I wanted it SQUAREWITHGUMPASTEFLOWERSALLOVERIT. I could had my granny do what they did for $ 30. The icing on the outside had shortening in it and tasted nasty. Total RIPOFF!!! MONEYHUNGRY!!!

Definitely not my first or last time here! Park on the side street, easier than trying to parallel park on the busy street in front. Soon as you walk in, to your right, you can see the special cakes being designed. Actually cool to see the process! Don’t forget to wave and smile! Yesterday I chose to get the Chocolate Cake 4⁄5. I would have liked more frosting but then I am greedy. Previous visits I’ve had cookies, pies and other flavors of cakes. Never been disappointed. I would like to come in the morning and try the donut breakfast sandwich one day. I heard that’s a favorite! If you want to try the donuts, don’t wait all day! Check them out!

I needed Cowboy boot cookies in a pinch for a baby shower, and Not Jus Donuts was able to accommodate my request at the last minute. When I arrived, they weren’t finished yet so I sat down and enjoyed some really great coffee. They were finished up in no time, and reasonably priced :) I put them on top of a cake for the shower, and scattered the rest around the table. Needless to say, they were delicious and all gone by the end of the day.

I like the fact that it’s minority owned and I love that. So my daughter and I went in on Friday and got a German Chocolate Bundt, Double Chocolate Bundt and I was thinking of ordering cake balls so I had a Strawberry one too. Sad to say my German Chocolate cake was very dry. Nothing like Nothing Bundt cake which is moisture all the way through. I will try the cake ball again but not that German Chocolate. My daughter didn’t brag to much either. Its was ok.

Great, minority owned family business serving up cookies, pies and custom cakes. This is where you go if you are looking for something straight out of Granny’s kitchen. EVERYTHINGISDELICIOUS. so knowing that I suggest(in no particular order): The Lemon Pecan pie Chocolate Cake pops Ranger cookies Sweet potato pie The service is great, they are very nice about recommendations, also back in the day they had a Unilocal check in special. look into that.

GOOOOOOOOOOOODCAKES! I’ve used them several times for parties and I love their cakes — good flavor, moist, rich icing. My favorite is Italian cream.

I visited Not Jus donuts after my mother co-worker told her about it. There is something about tea cakes which remind me of a big cookie, but they are called cakes. I’ve had tea cakes before in the past that were good, but Not Jus donuts tea cakes are a bit dry even when heated or ate cool. There was too much flour and lemon extract. We won’t be back for any tea cakes. I did see a piña colada cake there and if you know me. you’ll know that I love piña colada. I would like to try how that tastes I’m very curious. I’ve never heard of a piña colada cake and was shocked to see it in the bakery. Wow, pineapple and coconuts. Mmm… The bakery has a little café where you can order baked goods and sit n eat. The parking is the little strip alongside the curb and right lane. A good way to dip in and ride. I might be back for that cake.

I ordered 18 cupcakes, 2 pieces of the Billionaire cake, mini banana pie, 2 chocolate chip cookies, and 2 tea cakes for a small birthday dinner. Everything was great, except I like my tea cakes and cookies a little on the softer side, whereas these were a bit on the crunchy side, but they were still tasty. The cupcakes, cake and banana pie were very, very good though. We will definitely be back for the cake and cupcakes.

AVOID!!! The cake was 2 hours late to the event, so we did not get to eat it there, took it home. We found a piece of chewed up gum in our special ordered cake! How disgusting!!! LAWSUITINPROGRESS!!!

I was very disappointed with this place. I purchased two dozen cupcakes and 2 dozen decorative cookies. I ordered them 2 weeks in advance. I asked to pick them up at 1pm the day of my event. I got there and they were not ready. It was a total inconvenience to have to come back since I already had my day planned but I left and returned 2 hours later and they still were not ready. The woman working the register did give me a 10% discount. The cupcakes tasted pretty good but were just simple cupcakes with icing(something I could have gotten at Kroger). The cookies also tasted good but were absolutely not what I asked for. They looked like a 7 year old decorated them. If this bakery was not able to give me what I asked for they should have told me up front instead of trying and ruining them and to top it off the cookies were really expensive! A total waste of my money!!!

After using a groupon to try this place out around Thanksgiving, I’ve been back 3x. They have delicious pies! I’ve never been able to find a chocolate pie like in ‘The Help’, but this place has it. The chocolate chess pie is so good! The 3x I’ve ordered them, the first time it came with no topping, just perfect. The 2nd time, it came with whipped topping and chocolate shavings. I asked before I left«this isn’t a chocolate cream pie right, it’s chocolate chess?’. The lady assured me and said they just wanted to try something ‘different’ with the topping. That wasn’t true, it was a chocolate cream pie. The 3rd time, I specifically asked for chocolate chess, and yes you guessed it, it was a cream pie. And I didn’t realize both times until after I paid and went home. Kinda disappointing both times, since I really wanted the original. The correct one is good enough to give them another try.

PLEASEREAD! I called a few days before Thanksgiving & was told they were no longer taking orders BUT I could walk in & pick up Extras AFTER2. Sounds promising correct??? well needless to say it WASNOT please do NOT drive ALL the way over here bc you will waste GAS, TIME&MONEY! I arrived at 1:45& people were standing outside the cold even the customers who had placed their orders ahead of time. I waited outside for at least 20 mins & a few people left as well as I did. I WILLNEVER order, pre-order or give this place my business! The ONLY reason why they do so well is due to GROUPON!

Without a doubt the best tasting, most creative, while remaining traditional to excellent professional family cstyle customer service. Has been our only bakery for 10 years +++ Can’t wait for my pecan pie this Christmas! Y’all are great. Buddy and J.

My friend and I came here and we couldn’t figure out what the hype from the other reviews was. We asked about the most popular orders, and we settled on the butter cream cake. It was one of the sweetest things I’ve eaten and the cake itself wasn’t very moist. I was really excited coming here too… but other than everything being homemade, I don’t think there’s anything truly unique that I can’t experience somewhere else. I appreciate any mom and pop shop but this just didn’t excite me in any way. I guess if you’re looking for a custom made cake, then this is wha they’re good at. But taste wise, I wouldn’t expect anything extraordinary here.

I was able to try this place thanks to Groupon Service I placed an order the day before for an unexpected party and I must say whoever is handling the phones has patience. I never know what I want and they were very helpful! I ordered 18 cake pops and 24 cupcakes! Given that I didn’t pay full price, I got a great deal! The cake pops were amazing! Really good! So mushy but the icing was really good. As for the cupcakes, I am big cupcake fan but I wasn’t impressed. They were not exactly walmart quality but I am sure if you were to take a blind taste test, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. would I pay full price? honestly, not but then again, i don’t like paying full price for anything.
