I search Mexican corn in my area and this place came with 5 stars so I decided to give it a shot! I arrive and I liked the place! A large outdoor sitting area welcomed me on a very nice afternoon! A drive through! Woo hoo, I thought! They take debit cards! Even better!!! I ordered the hot dog as a snack and an elote!
Hot dog was an average regular hot dog. Elote was my biggest disappointment! I should note that I am a HUGE addict of elotes! I will drive far for a good elote! However the elote here tastes like the canned corn, the chile is the fruit chile which doesn’t go with the elote!!! Blah whatever, I wouldn’t come back for an elote… maybe I’ll try the nachos or the Frito pie which you can’t really go wrong with!

Drive through for snow cones and fruit desserts on a hot day in Houston? That’s a win in my book. They also have relaxed outdoor seating that’s welcoming to kids.
The prices are fair and the service was prompt. I see us making many visits this summer.

When I’m around here, I make sure to stop by for a licuado and elote. Prices a little higher than other refresquerias, but it has a nice atmosphere, the music makes you want to dance.
