The service was fast and friendly. To my surprise the food is great! We ordered the beef kabob and chicken kabob. The meat we seasons and the salad was fresh. Great place for Mediterranean food.

About time this area got an up to par hookah lounge. I forgot the waitress’ name but she was very knowledgable on the menu and tobacco flavors. They could not have hired anyone better. She is very friendly and outgoing as well. I tried the chicken kabob and I have to say it was very delicious. Nothing is fried so it’s also great if you are trying to eat clean. As a persian I am very picky about the way my hookah is made and Oraby made it perfect.

So the 1 star is for the Server! She was very kind and tried so hard to make our experience good but to no avail :(so my BF& I were on «date night»(no kids. A rare event) and we chose this location to enjoy a good dinner & some hookah together… but OMG I would NOT recommend this establishment. When we got there there was one table with three people and we were the only other customers in the restaurant. It seemed as if they were getting ready for a dinner buffet maybe!!! Under new management not helping. We called ahead to ask if they served alcohol and they do NOT but do offer BYOB @ $ 4.99 a head So we brought our own bottles from the liquor stop up the parking lot(Specs) and we asked for Ginger Ale and they don’t have ginger ale. So we asked for Cranberry juice and oh my guess what they don’t have that either… hummm I guess I’ll get a Coke Zero but wow it was FLAT4 months out of date! My BF ordered the SRIRACHAHOTWINGS& tried to get fries and rice but they do not allow substitutions on certain orders. I ordered the lamb kabob with double rice so my BF could get his substitution thru my meal. Well the food came out at a decent time & with a good temperature however, the SRIRACHA hot wings didn’t have SRIRACHA on them & we’re not hot. My guess is they used Cayanne pepper in the batter and called it SRIRACHA Hot wings & the fries had a frozen flavor to them. My meal May have well been called lamb chunks and rice… Because the kebab was not on a skewer & there were no vegetables as seen in the pic in the menu. So I asked the nice waitress could I have some vegetables to go with my kebab. When she brought them back it was red onions and tomatoes down on the grill with the core and the peel still on the onion! No seasoning no nothing! It’s like I was bothering the cook by asking for what I ordered. The rice was bland but eatable. I felt bad for the waitress because she tried so hard and it wasn’t her fault but we will not be going back to this establishment. Even after explaining all the issues there was no discount on the bill. The cook or the manager never came to the table to explain what may have gone wrong or apologize but we did however take care of the waitress!

We went on a weekend recently for the first time and we were the only ones in the restaurant and the people working there who appear to be all one family were having a argument with each other and the young man was very rude to the girl who took our order and served us. He was not nice and was called out for apparently not doing his job and hanging out on the patio while the older man who I think was the father was making all of our order. So the atmosphere was not pleasant and the food was ok. They need to not bicker and treat each other like that. The son who was rude to the sister needs to get himself together, we don’t treat women like that in Texas and I had to keep my cool. Probably not going back because of that.

Decent Middle Eastern food but prices are high and there are many better places close by. Ful medames($ 4.99) — incredibly bland, tasteless, doused in too much olive oil. Comes with pita bread and hot sauce(shatta I think). The pita bread’s thick and pillowy like Olivit’s or Fadi’s pita but as tasteless as the beans and nowhere near as good. 2⁄5 Fried kibbeh(3 for $ 4.99) — not bad but the bulgur shell is soft and way too thick. There’s not much filling inside. Also doesn’t come with any sauce like the menu pics suggest. 3⁄5 Falafel(4 for $ 4.99) — ridiculous price for how small these are. also not bad though. Thicker, crispy crust, and a decent parsley infused chickpea mix inside that’s just a bit dry. Fortunately the tahini sauce that came with this was quite good and flavorful. Dunno why but this tasted very similar to The Halal Guys’s falafel(at double the price). 3.5÷5 Chicken shawarma sandwich($ 7.99) — it’s shaped like a… square. Kind of odd. Like everything else, the sandwich was not particularly good or bad, just decent. I really liked the how thin and crisp the pita wrap was. But the chicken inside was dry and mushy, only saved by the slathering of «garlic sauce» which was essentially thin white mayo. NO garlic taste whatsoever. I actually did enjoy this though, but it reminded me more of a hamburger than a chicken shawarma wrap. Maybe because they actually do make burgers here. Finally, the fries that came with this were horrible and very soggy. 3.5÷5 I don’t think I’ll be back. There are so many places nearby with better and cheaper food — Zeyad Bakery, Zamani, Kababi Zaytoon, Olivit, Alwadi… But supposedly they’re getting new owners soon and the menu will change(same food). It’d be great to see lower prices as well.

Got a hookah, requested regular hose and at the end I got charged for disposable hose. Asked them to take the charge off, waiter stated that we charge regardless because we clean the regular hoses…

Just tried this place for the first time and it was delicious! Had the Gyro, it was bigger than I expected and really tasty, meat was not dry. Reminded me of gyros from Nikko Nikko’s. Also had the kibbeh and Baba ganoush and they were equally delish. Definitely recommend!!!

This is my second visit to this restaurant. I am extremely fond on Mediterranean cuisine. My first visit was great. So why not come back. I ordered as soon as I sat down. It had already been 45 minutes and still no food. When the food arrived I was extremely appalled. The beef kabob was cold as if it has been sitting there waiting to be served. The rice was extremely over cooked as if it was from the bottom of the pot or has been sitting under a heat light. But it wasn’t hot so exclude that. But for a fact it wasn’t fresh. Hummus was exceptional. The mixed Grill was the exact same. We notified the waiter of the issue and she fixed it but it was just worse. The chocolate cake was terrible. We know it is store bought. But did it have to be spongy? and frosting was stale. Very disappointed. Will be back for this is the only Mediterranean/Hookah in the area.

Came in and it was absolutely empty but they treated us like it was a full house. Very little attention. The food was less than mediocre and overpriced. Definitely will not be going back at all.

Greek salad was good. Had lots of bell pepper which I didn’t know if I would like but it wasn’t bad at all. The salad doesn’t come with pita bread so I ordered the hummus and pita appetizer as well. Didn’t really care for the hummus since it was plain and I usually prefer garlic hummus. Pita bread was not really warmed the first time out, asked for crispy pita bread, still no flavor even for pita bread but much better. The chocolate cake was rather thick, dry.

We tried this new restaurant this past weekend for lunch. It is high noon, we are the only customers there, gummy… We ordered combination appetizer platter to start with. Humus is ok, not a lot flavor. The other two fried corn patties are tasty but the color is very dark. It looked like the frying oil has been used for a while. We also ordered gyro, chicken, steak Kababs. They are ok, nothing stand out. Oh, don’t order that deliciously pictured dish on the cover of the menu. It’s just a picture, they don’t make that… but why!!!

Walking in and ordering just one smoothie… Keep in mind I’m as straight as a ruler can get. I had a buddy with me tag along, I receive the smoothie to go and he offers me 2 straws like I’m gonna share with my buddy and drink the smoothie at the same time! I was pretty offended by the accusations of what the waiter was trying to speculate… At this moment that I’m writing this review I’m still thinking about what happened…

First time we stopped here, it was great. Hummus was flavorful and chicken was tender. Second and last time, someone forgot to season the hummus and chicken was served raw even after waiting 10 minutes after my husband received his meal. It seemed as if it was our waitress’s first day and management failed to train her.

Went there Saturday night with my cousin and enjoyed it very much. I didnt get any food as I was still full from earlier, but my cousin did get a couple of appetizers, both of which he said were delicious. What I went for, and thoroughly enjoyed, was the hookah. We had grape and followed that up with grape berry, both were excellent. The staff that we dealt with were friendly, courteous, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Oraby to anyone and look forward to going there again.

Horrible! We got sick after eating here. The food is extremely bland and lacks all true mediterranean flavors. You can get more flavor from the prepackaged hummus and grape leaves they sell at HEB! Even the baklava vas bad — frozen cold and hard! I mean, how can you get baklava wrong!?? And they let people smoke hookas inside, INSIDE!!! C’mon! The worst! Do not eat here!

This place is so authentic! When they say Mediterranean food, it’s not half ass or anything, it’s the real deal. The food is so fresh and well made, if you’re feeling up for it you can even watch the pizzas be made! The hookah is so good, the guy is awesome at bringing coals. As for the staff, everyone is great. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

I am very happy with my previous experience. It looks like the management took a look at my complaint and decided to change the water policy. I enjoyed my last visit here and I plan on bringing my friends next time I go! Keep up the good work!

Agree with Omar on the zero stars… if I could I would. Walked in and walked right out. First«Mediterranean» restaurant I have EVER been to that offered pepperoni pizza. The place doesn’t know what cuisine it wants to be. I guess if the restaurant business fails, they can rely on the hookah bar and smoothie selection. Also, in America water is free. Bottled water is an upcharge. Don’t offer me crappy bottled water and charge me, maybe if you offered Voss or Pellegrino. Fail.

Food is ok but we still prefer other Mediterranean restaurants that we visit nearby. The juices are very nice. The biggest complaint we have is that they don’t serve free water. I am yet to find a restaurant that gives only bottled water and charges for it.

This is a Hookah bar more than a restaurant so I’m not going to return. Ordered food for family of 5 $ 80. 1 cheese pizza, 1 burger, 1 family size mixed grill 2 starters, 5 soft drinks. One of the starters was dragging, ended up being served AFTER the main course arrived. For the famlly sized grill the whole chicken was presented poorly, it looked like road kill, it was burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. The chicken kebabs were burnt at the edges. To be fair the beef kebabs were done very well, as were the ground beef kebabs. The construction work going on at 6pm was annoying — couldn’t they do that during the day? Overall a poor experience. The service at the table is completely not worth it for the poor quality food. If you’re not going to smoke Hookah, you’re better off going to Dimassis in The Woodlands. Its buffet, but the food is consistently good quality — better than Oraby’s restaurant and can feed a family of 5 for less than $ 70.

The food wasn’t as good as the other Mediterranean places nearby but my main complaint is the service. The waitress didn’t know the menu and she rarely visited our table. My wife’s food wasn’t ready until 15 minutes after I got mine and I had to go up and ask for it. If you want Mediterranean then i would recommend Zababi Zaytoon a few minutes away.

I am no food critic but the food was outright amazing. I came here with my parents and was blown away by the great service. I ordered the beef kabob and the strawberry juice. The beef was tender and smelled amazing. The two side I ordered was babba ganoush and tabouli which were both outstanding. The pita bread was warm and fresh, right out the oven. The chicken kabob my parents ordered was spiced just right and very moist. The strawberry juice was like a large smoothie of fresh fruit and every sip was delightful. Finally we had an amazing coconut dessert to wrap up our meal. We did not try the hookah but the food was definitely worth coming by. I am going to be back for sure!!!
