Panera Bread

I ordered a chicken Cobb salad from here twice and they didn’t put chicken in it? Both times! I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble. I like this place but that’s kind of a deal breaker

I was barely acknowledged by the woman behind the counter. Ordered two coffee and it took 10 mins (she spent most of the time talking to other staff members) while making sure I was completely ignored. What appeared to be the manager asked me what I was waiting on and I told him. He said of fresh coffee and walking off. I could have grown a coffee plant in the time I got them.
I go In to this location maybe once every couple of months and it continues to go downhill which is apparent by the other reviews.

Ordered an off the menu item: power breakfast egg and steak bowl plus hot tea. The meal was tiny just enough till I have in a couple of hours. It was good though be advised this is not a good meal after a 5 mile run maybe good for 20 minute stroll. It was also about $ 7 plus change. Thank goodness I had a gift card, I love those. Only had to pay .90 in the end. The lady behind counter spent a little to much time complimenting customer accessory items.
My order was mixed up and had to explain that I would like it in bowl without/​sans bread. He really wanted to make me a sandwich. Then, he forgot it was to go and quickly boxed it.
Last night service was great. Only ordered tea and bagel. It is also less hectic in the evenings.
Plenty of parking and a couple of spots for to go.
Loved the bagel and service last night! Today my meal was good just sad it was very tiny. All the steak actually fit on the egg which was about the size of to go beverage cup top. Only took me under 5 minutes to eat it. Okay, I’ll think about a great lunch I will have in one hour and 15 minutes.

This is a bigger location. I’m starting to see why so many people like Panera Bread. So far, I prefer their breakfast.

Panera Bread is OK. They have a nice variety. However, if you get there after 2 or 3 pm, the choice is limited. So, tip is to get there early.

This Panera was a solid one in my opinion.
Come fall time I always hunt down the Autumn Squash soup, and this location is near my office, so I dragged my co-​worker here. We both did the you pick two option with a soup and salad.
My greek salad was fine, nothing special, which is pretty typical for Panera in my opinion. The soup was great though, as always, and the service was quick about getting it to us and even came to take it away too.
My co-worker’s salad was a bit smaller and lackluster, but she enjoyed her soup. They have ample seating even during lunch hour. They also have a huge parking lot surrounding the place, which I really appreciate.
Would definitely come back for the autumn squash soup, but if I ever find a Panera where they mess this up it’ll be an automatic 1. Seriously pumpkin/​squash lovers, you must try this soup.

Tasty turkey cranberry flatbread and the mac n cheese was warm.
You don’t think that the Pick 2 will fill you up…

The service here is absolutely horrible! The people working the counter where you order are so unbelievably slow, and the furthest thing from friendly. They rarely greet you, and when they do it’s a mumble. I understand work is work, and it sucks, but geez! They are always running out of things on the menu too. So frustrating!

I order and eat and Panera all over the country. My experience here has been below average compared to other Paneras. Many other Paneras are a lot more accommodating. No need to get into details because if you were read them, they’d be small, and you’d think I was crazy. What I’m referring to is the customer experience and that’s what I believe to be subpar here at this Panera. A simple order of one meal for here and the others to go was all delivered as here meals. They fixed it but this was confirmed at the register. I Won’t be returning to this particular Panera and I cater meals to medical offices frequently and so do many of my colleagues. This location is below average.
I asked for a chai tea latte (which I thought was hot, so my mistake), but I asked for it with almond milk instead of regular milk. They delivered it and it was cold, so I asked if it was hot or cold. They informed me it could come hot. So I said ok, can I have one with almond milk? They said it’s pre-​made. So if you are intolerant to dairy, and ask for almond milk, guess you’re getting it with milk…
And when I asked to speak to a manager I was told both were busy and wouldn’t be able to come address my issues.

Lunch rush, 30 people in line and one person taking orders. Meanwhile they have someone slicing bagels… definition of efficiency.

If I can give this place a zero star I will!!! Rude cashier’s giving attitude and ontop of u call to place an order save ur time cuz I was placed on hold for 15 mins and when I told them they still gave more attitude and say oh we are busy and we have everybody on hold! WTF If u want to put pple on hold don’t freaking answer the phone…

I know I just re-​reviewed this place last week due to coming here for lunch so often, but this morning I ordered a ciabatta breakfast sandwich through the rapid pick up on the app. I get in my car, take out the sandwich, drive onto Westheimer and take a big bite. Something wasn’t right at all about this bite, and as I pulled the sandwich out of my mouth I realize it is because there is some sort of paper in my sandwich!!! I assume it was wax paper, you know the kind they use to keep slices of cheese from sticking to each other. Once safely stopped at a stop light I took a picture with the paper sticking out.
I am never coming back here again– no more chances from me– three times in a row I have had a problem, so three strikes and you are outta here!

Well, I ordered an online pick-​up. I placed the ordered around 11 am to be picked up at 2:15. I get there at exactly 2:15 my order is not ready yet I go to the back where they have all the orders and they refused to talked to me and made me stand in line with people that are still ordering. About 2:25 my order comes out and they placed it where it should have been placed at 2:15. Anyways. I check the order number without checking what’s inside because at that point I was just pissed and I wanted to go back to work. I get to work they didn’t include the cookie I ordered so I called them to let them know; and they said «oh, sorry someone should have told you that we ran out of those cookies, you can come back for something else» No I can’t go back I spent too much time waiting for food that I ordered hours before and it’s not like they are really close to me I had to make quiet a drive. So I was not happy. Now, let’s talk about the actual food, I got a broccoli cheddar soup and I think they make the BEST one, and a quinoa salad. The salad was horrible, super dry and not tasty at all.

A friend of mine wanted to get a beagle so we went there before work. I asked for a Ham egg and cheese sandwich. I asked if I could substitute the bread for spinach and I was told I could. the cashier up charge me for the substitution less than a dollar so I was fine with the change because I was getting what I wanted. I pick up my order and I rushed to work. when I open the bag I notice that the cooks added spinach but I received less than 10 leaves… it was suppose to be a substitution of bread for spinach. very disappointed, specially for the $ 5.00 and some change I spent there.

Crazy deals if your a member. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. The food taste great, every time. I ordered online and it was ready when I got there. So simple. They are also competent enough to understand when you order food to go, naturally you want silverware and napkins. I didn’t even have to ask, like most places.

This will NOT be a favorable review, for the following reason: I was waiting for my order when the lady next to steps up to order a loaf of bread. She asked what the store had. The order taker says, «We got.. . white,.. . » So the lady asks for a loaf of white bread. The order taker THEN says, «Let me check and see if we have any.» I commented to the customer on the ironic humor that she had just asked what they have; the order taker said that they had the white bread but when she ordered the white bread, the order taker had to go and check to see if they had any.
The order taker immediately responded that she had not said they actually had white bread but they they probably had some.
As to the bagel and coffee I ordered. I ordered my favorite (cinnamon crunch) and it was very good, as usual for Panera Bread. I am used to my coffee a little bit hotter than they ever seem to serve (since I use cream) but it was tasty. Oh, and they place was clean and cool! Overall, but for the order taker with a defensive attitude, it was another 4 or 5 star visit! Yes, I really do like Panera Bread and while I did encounter an employee with some attitude, hopefully she will learn to respond to the better on the future (hint, she should have initially said either, «pleas allow me to see what we have available, «or «we usually have… »

Its been a while i had a breakfast there with my wife, yes nice sandwiches and soups.
But seriously, why do we deal with those cold cashiers ?
I went there today, was quite full as usual. Again the same story, a cashier on training and other one treats everyone with a an attitude like what do you want !
anyway they can smile a bit.
Ah yea the worst, i dont know if someone noticed but the bagels are like rubber.

I came here the other day with some girl friends for dinner and catch. Panera Bread offers such a relaxing and chill atmosphere.
Pros
— They have BREAD BOWLS!!! This is probably the one and only thing I get from Panera bread because it’s so deliciously awesome and filling. I love carbs and this bread bowl hits the spot. You can get it with any of their soups!
— The server was super friendly. I was about to make a big mistake by ordering the vegetable soup with my bread bowl (since it’s healthier and low fat), but she mentioned that she doesn’t think it’s salty enough. She even offered to give me a taste of the soup, which I politely declined since I actually didn’t really want that soup in the first place. I was trying to be healthy, but now she gave me a reason not to be! I got the chicken noodle soup instead with no regrets.
— As mentioned before, the atmosphere of the restaurant was chill and spacious. I like that they offer lemons on the side of the beverage stand. If you’re cheap like me, then getting water is totally worth it if they have lemons on the side!

Cons
— Chairs were a bit hard, but I’m not sure if that’s because we sat there from 6:30−9pm…either way it would’ve an even nicer feel if they had more cushion to the chairs. Hard chairs always give me the feeling that they want you in and out as quick as possible!
I give it the 5 stars because of the service and bread bowls. Mainly because of the bread bowls…

Loved it here it’s not always crowded, I do prefer it during dinner time. Friendly staff quit place for studying if you don’t like Starbucks, but lovely management. Loved their baking goods too.

This location is always busy during lunch but for a good reason. I tried their Mediterranean Pita Flatbread Sandwich that accompanied it with a side of potatoe bacon soup and chips. You can never go wrong in whatever you choose here. Everything I have ever tried has been filling and tasteful. Friendly staff always there to assist you. If you happen to get their Panera Member Card you get a free pastry when your birthday comes around not to mention also when you rack up the points! The inside is spacious. good for studying, meetings or just lunch. Good Eats!
