To be nice, 2 stars, service is friendly. But eew this place is gross. Phở is gross, the egg rolls omg disgusting. I get the portions are huge, but I can’t enjoy eating a big bowl of nasty stuff! Nothing fresh about this place.

This place is defianetly not made for a Phở lover or an every day vietnamese foodie. Went at 6pm and the Beef phở was bland as if water was added to the broth. The service was fast and the people was very friendly. We didn’t finish our phở and we Unilocaled another place to get our cravings fixed. Perhaps I will give them another try. and thats a big maybe.

Amazing!!! It’s right by my house so i come here pretty often. their thai tea is great, their phở could be a little more savory but its still solid the way it is, and everyone there is really friendly and accommodating!!! will take pictures next time i go(i’ve already been there 4 times), but my boyfriend and i definitely recommend it. we wouldnt survive without this place!

I drove past this place for about a year before I finally went in. The owner warmly greeted me and took time to explain the menu. I selected the Phở bowl of soup, and since I am Vegan and he recommended that I substitute the chicken for tofu. It was honestly explained to me that the broth was chicken based however. As I am not strictly fanatical about being Vegan this was acceptable to me. I really appreciated his concern and honesty. The soup was absolutely wonderful, with plenty of mint and sprouts on the side. My wife and I have been back again and again with a great experience each time. We also enjoy the loose leaf hot tea, especially wonderful on a cold day, and the spring rolls are large and fresh. I wish I had not waited so long to try out this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I ordered my phở to-go so I can’t speaks too much to customer service/wait staff but the guy on the register was friendly. It’s clearly a family friendly establishment which is great. I got the brisket phở and added shrimp for $ 2 extra which isn’t bad compared to another place I go to that charges $ 1 per shrimp. The phở itself was $ 9 after add ons. Parking is a little tight but the food was worth it.

I think this place is good depending on what you order. The salt crispy tofu is awesome! Phở is pretty good too. The fried rice and shaken beef cubes were not great and will not be ordered again. It’s nice and convenient for me to get my phở cravings so I’ll keep trying their offerings to find gems like the crispy tofu(salty, crispy on the outside, study and silky on the inside, little bit of spice from the stirred fried jalapenos).

Solid Vietnamese food, fast and friendly service. It was good, but not incredible Vietnamese. I’d would come back but it is a little far for me.

Four stars for their food, two and a half stars for their customer service. We came here for dinner and as soon as we walked in I felt awkward, there wasn’t any sign or hostess stand that said«Sit anywhere» or «Please wait to be seated» so my fiancée and I were just standing there for a couple of minutes before someone finally came over and said we can sit where we would like. We had a couple of moments to look over the menu, we ordered our normal Vietnamese egg rolls and chicken phở. When the egg rolls came out they were pretty big, I was impressed, the flavor was pretty good better than what we’ve had before since we’ve moved to Houston. Their chicken phở was great! I enjoyed their broth a lot which is obviously the most important part of phở lol. The bus boy cleared our empty appetizer dishes but waited until my drink was completely empty after about 10 mins to fill it and didn’t even ask my fiancée if he wanted a refill on his. He had gotten a soda and it was probably going to be an extra charge for it, but the bus boy didn’t even offer! Another thing that bothered me was that he had cleared my bowl without asking if I was finished. So whether I’d go back or not would be a toss up, I’d like to give them another shot and enjoy their good food again, but I’m not sure if I’d want another bad service experience.

I decided to try this place because I drive by it everyday and they’re open until 1000 which is a plus. I walked in and reminds me of the restaurants back in Hawaii. We were greeted right away. There are so many things on the menu to choose from. I wanted a vegetable phở. He was kind enough to make one for me because it wasn’t on the menu. The bowls are smaller than Saigon phở but I want to say there is more or the same in the bowl. The broth was tasty. Cilantro automatically on the side which is a huge plus for people like me who do not like it. Price is reasonable. I also got the egg roll because I was starving and it was super good. Nice and crispy and full of flavor.

I have been enjoying Phở Than Long since 2004. I love this place, it brings back great memories. I usually get a small bowl of Phở Tai and as of recently I actually started to add in all the veggies and spices!

These guys charged me $ 3 for a bowl of extra broth. The regular price for a large sized phở is $ 7. Go figure.

This place is so yummy! I come at least once a week. The service is great, the food is so delicious and everything is really fresh. It’s perfect for quick lunch breaks at the office. Their lunch specials are the perfect portion and have plenty to choose from!

Their hot and sour soup is so incredibly good! LOADED with veggies, mushrooms and silky smooth tofu. Nice spice too. It’s something I think I’ll be craving in the near future.

If you don’t like really strong spice in your phở I recommend this place. Some Vietnamese restaurants put a lot of spice anise in their phở that it is over whelming. I like the broth here, light but tasteful. The place is clean and I have never had issues with service, someone is always attending the table.

Love this place… I come here often and would recommend it to anyone. The soups are the best… in my opinion, try the spring rolls as well.

Affordable prices and everyone’s really nice. They even recommended I stop by heavenly, the tea shop next door, to grab dessert while I was waiting on my take out order. Definitely a favorite!

Today was my first time dining in the restaurant. My work place is 2 minutes away so I figured let’s give it a try. In my opinion, the restaurant is geared toward Americans, not Vietnamese. If you want a better representation of Vietnamese noodle(phở), try Phở Danh on Veterans Memorial and Bammel North Houston. I ordered the classic Phở Dac Biet(combination noddle) size small. The broth was bland. There were not enough meat.(I’m a meat eater so I frown at any phở restaurants that give a measly 1 – 2 strips of meat). The staff were professional enough; they speak only in English to customers even though I spoke in Vietnamese to them.(Well, I was the only Vietnamese customer there.) They checked up with me at least 3 times to see if I needed anything else. In conclusion, staff seems fine; combo phở, not so good.

Phở Thanh Long has been my go-to phở spot for a little under a year now. It is close to where I stay and their phở tai is usually on point but I have noticed a few things in my times going: * The beef is not always as tender as I would like. It can be tough or chewy from time to time and sometimes almost too thick. * The noodles aren’t always cooked thoroughly, I will get clumps that are a little chewy and just hard to manage with my chopsticks. Other then those two points the food here is delicious. The broth is always great and where the food falls short they make up in their excellent customer service and very, very quick wait times. I definitely recommend giving these great people and their delicious phở a try!

A clean spacious place which is a big plus for the wife and I. So far I have had excellent service. Drinks were always refilled and order taking was quick. I don’t really have a complaint for the food. The phở broth here is more to my wife’s liking because of the herbs and spices that are used. I can say the vermicelli comes in a large portion. Especially when its a meat and egg roll. It wasn’t just some small egg roll either… it was atleast 2 egg rolls cause i counted more than 2 ends that were cut off. It also wasn’t those skinny tiny ones, but it was more of the thick ones you would order in a app. Food comes out QUICK! Less than 5 – 8 minutes it seemed each time i’ve been. At first i figure the phở would be quick but after ordering vermicelli, it seemed all food was quick. Good service. Good Food. No complaints.

I go here for vermicelli often. The place is always busy. Bright dining, snappy service. They make me ‘baby chopsticks’ because my hand tires when I’m not quite finished with my bowl. The iced tea is very good, they have glass glasses(YAAAAY!). Husband usually gets a general tso’s-ish meal and there is always enough left over to bring home. Broccoli appears bright green and steamed. Come try if you want a good bowl of noodles. Order the pork buhn #53 and ask them to put cilantro in it. I also shook some sirachi(sp?) sauce in there. Gosh, that’s some darn good eatin’. ***Another reviewer was offended he was given scissors when he asked for a knife to cut his noodles. Scissor are standard utensils at Phở Dan on 1960, so kwitcherbitchen.
