This location is new and the facilities are clean. Doing well. About 10 customers came here while I ate. Sadly, a taqueria in same complex is practically empty(this inspires a song, at the end of the review). On the menu it says«Passion for Grilling». The logo chicken shows a thumbs* up?(*ok, wing feather up) What’s wrong with this picture? Why would the chicken shown on the logo be so happy(feliz)? Is he part of the 1% who won’t get grilled? Menu: Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, bowls are listed, but grilled chicken is featured in various combos. Prices are average, except a few specials. WOL Protest line: «Cut spending, not chicken!» Noteworthy: many sides items on the menu, and place has a salsa bar. But, conspicuously absent: tortilla chips! — Wing feather down for me. Salsa bar has six different salsas. While all look mass-produced, and none of them are great, they all have distinctive flavor that is sufficiently good with the chicken, and I suppose beef. — Wing feather up for me. I ordered 2-piece combo(breast and wing): Meat from rotisserie grill was dry, but tasty, especially with 5 salsas to dip it in. However, the serving size of poultry was paltry. WOL Protest line: «Fellow Fowl, rotisserie should be a no spin zone! Stand up and don’t be boneless! » — Wing feather up for me. For one side item: Nopalito(vegetable mix) with steamed broccoli, cauliflower, squash and carrot. No spice, and not buttered much if any. But healthy; so WOL Protest line: «Eliminate Fat!» — Wing feather sideways for me. Other side item: Cole slaw is fresh enough and not dripping in mayo. — Wing feather up for me. Choice of tortillas: corn/flour(not from… scratch). WOL Protest line: «PETA not pita!» Bottom line: Healthy choices. Small, dry, tasty meat. Bring your own chips. — Wing feather slightly up for me. Sing-along section: Set-up: Taco trucks and fast-food franchises are negatively impacting the already low-margin sit-down privately-owned taquerias. They are going the way of Main St stores when Wal-Mart moved in. «Franchise Killed the Taqueria»(parody of the Buggles’ «Video Killed the Radio Star») (listen to the real song from Or the karaōke for singing along with parody words below )… now sing along… I hurt you on my lunch break at eleven fifty two Dying hungry intent at turning in on you If I was rushed it didn’t stop ads coming through Oh-a oh They took the credit for your grill rotisserie Re-invented it with money for new technology And now I understand falling profit you can see Oh-a oh I met your chickens Oh-a oh What did you tell them?
