Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits

This is the worst Popeye’s I’ve ever been to!!!
The tenders were cold and the red beans and rice were watery and there was only a half of a container!!!
Stark difference from the one in Katy!!!

If you come to this Popeye’s bring more patience than money. Make sure you find some good music on the radio to pass the time and get comfy. You will be waiting longer than necessary.
We came here on a Friday and utilized the drive through. There was only one car ahead of us and they were at the pick up window. Who knows how long they had been waiting?
We sat at the order area for between 5 – 10 minutes before our order was even taken. For some reason the employee could not take our order until the person at the pick up window left. I guess there is no multi-​tasking at this Popeye’s. It also seemed as of they kept getting the one other customer’s order wrong as the bags kept getting handed back and forth.
Finally the person took our order and we immediately realized the problem. No one had a clue what they were doing. We had to repeat the order several times and correct the person when it was incorrectly repeated back to us. When we were finally able to pull up to the pick up window, we still had to correct and verify our order. Again, no one working there had a clue what was going on. We had an unnecessarily long wait at the window, too. I don’t know if this was an off day or what but it definitely was not organized or efficient.
The food was «fast food good». The shrimp had nice flavor but would have been better hot rather than warm. The Cajun fries were well seasoned and hot and tasty. The biscuits were room temperature and kind of hard and not enjoyable.
It wasn’t the worst place but with better organization and employees keeping in sync and knowing what is going on there would be a huge improvement.
Unless things improve at this location I’d suggest finding a more efficient Popeye’s. If you have a ton of time to waste and have no hurry then pull on up to this one. Have patience and eventually you’ll get your food and be on your way.
