Robbie’s has been Spring Branch fixture since at least the ‘50s, and for good reason: expertise, great customer service, reliability. I’ve come here over the years with various issues: an old steamer trunk that was locked, but I had no key. They made a new key. Fussy locks on old houses that wouldn’t work, and I had no keys. They just know their business. Yes, if you get a key made there, they’re more expensive than, say, those make-​it-​yourself booths at Home Depot, but they’re made right. You won’t need to come back. Right now, they have an interesting old stand-​alone safe they’ve refurbished and is for sale.

I recently moved and lost the keys to a small fireproof safe. These guys helped me get into my safe and and were very friendly and helpful in the process. Great independent store that has been around a very long time. Will definitely use these guys again if I need keys, etc!

Great service! I needed an extra car key (with microchip) and my dealership wanted to charge $ 200+ for it to be made. I searched nearby key shops and luckily found Robbie’s. They only charged me $ 67.50 to have my spare car key made. The gentleman who helped me did a great job and even double checked to make sure the key worked. While here I also had other keys made as well. The entire service took place within 20 minutes. Since I had just had my nails done I did not want to mess up my nails and I asked the guy if he could take my keys off my keyring. He willingly did so and then put it back on the ring when he was finished. It has a great location in the heart of Spring Branch! They offer residential and commercial services and will even come out to you for key work.

Solid service! Had a couple of keys cut for my car right in the middle of the lunch hour and these guys took care of me in a couple of minutes. They even cut the OEM Chevrolet blanks that I provided, unlike the big name places (HD, LOWES)… 2 keys and 2 rings cost me about $ 5.5.
Seems to be an established small business that’s been around for a while. Glad to support the little guy!

I came to Robbie’s on a recommendation to have some locks re-​keyed. They were quick and inexpensive and got my order done before the end of the day. I appreciated that seeing how swamped they were when I came in.
