Jane Gregory Garden is directly across the freeway from the Police Memorial. A small gravel-pathed garden. Plenty of shaded areas, a sculpture to look at, plants to enjoy, benches and a fountain! Cute area to sit and visit with a friend or your favorite fur baby. Great addition Houston!

This is a wonderfully large park that weaves though the Allan parkway and the Bayou areas, as well as the Montrose Blvd and Eleanor Tinsley Park ares. As my friend an I enjoyed our stroll we came across plenty of cute animals, a sand volleyball court near the Allan Parkway parking lot, large open areas of green grass(perfect for picnicking) and a skate park. There are not many signs but it would take effort to get lost in this park. The only con is that parking is hard to find and there is not much of it if you are not from that area.

Sabine park is the perfect little green space for inner city joggers, bikers, and dog lovers. Located in between Allan parkway and the Bayou, Montrose Blvd and Eleanor Tinsley Park. There is street parking on service road & one small parking area off Allen Parkway by the park. Last summer the park got a major overhaul, paving walkways, replanting grass, and installing new walkway lights. I often go jogging here and see dozens of people walking dogs, jogging, biking, etc. There is plenty of scenery around, specifically downtown towers & the lovely brown Bayou :-). Due to close proximity to Allan Parkway, this park is not quiet. So don’t bring a yoga mat or attempt to take a nap, car noise is evident. Yet having green space in this concrete jungle is defiantly welcomed!
