I don’t feel like going into detail about what was said but if I could rate this establishment lower, I would. This place is owned by racist Indian people who wouldn’t allow my boyfriend to eat breakfast(stale waffles and expired milk BTW) because they insisted he was not a guest there when in fact we paid 75 $ for a one night stay. The bed lacked a blanket. instead there was a shabby throw that did not keep me warm. There was a bloodstain on the wall in my bathroom and all night I was kept up by the sounds of a drunken couple fornicating… over and over again. I would advise you invest in a stay elsewhere. I think prostitution occurs within the facility.

1 star is being generous. This place is awful. I’ve posted a ton of pictures so check it out for yourself. There was an electric outlet that showed signs of fire. stains on the pillows, hairs in the sink, mystery stains on the bathroom walls and on the doors. And the place smells horrible. The manager was very rude and unhelpful. He didn’t seem to care that we had 3 kids and it was late at night. All he told us was the rooms were full and he couldn’t help us. His reason for the outlet was«so far nothing bad has happened with it». Even though it was clearly a shortage of some kind., This was a waste of time and money. Unfortunately we ended up having to leave this place and go to another place. I wouldn’t recommend going here to anyone. I’m even considering calling the fire marshal about the faulty electrical in this place.

Great place to stay! We’ve stayed several times here. The rooms we’ve had are roomy, clean and the A/C works great(my son likes it very cold) The family running it have always been very nice and accommodating. The cost is very, very reasonable considering room size and breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Wow. I was completely blown away by this place. It was my first stay at this chain, but if it is typical, I’ll be trying out more Scottish Inns. I’ll certainly be back to this one when I stay in Houston again. I saved money on a big, clean room with a king bed, big flat-panel TV, microwave, fridge, loveseat and an air conditioner that actually got the place cold.

For some reason it’s not letting me click how many stars the price would be… but if I could, it would be only 1 star in price! I found this hotel when a friend I was going to stay with had to leave town suddenly. I called at 4:30 and arrived at 5, my room ready and everything set up for me. The room was the second cheapest within 15 miles, and by far the best available within my price range. I rented the cheapest room they had available. I could have afforded something more expensive, but this was even better than the hotels at double the price. Key notes: — Dirt cheap price, well worth over triple what I paid. — The service was very good. — Free breakfast included! Waffle maker, cereal, fruit, breakfast pastries, OJ, etc. More than you’re common continental breakfast! — The parking lot was well lit, with beautiful roses were in every plant bed. I felt very safe, even late at night. — Room had a full fridge, sink, coffee maker, and microwave. There were no plates or anything, so be sure to pick some stuff up at the gas station next door if you need anything. — HUGE room, over double the size I expected it to be. It was more like a suite. The ceilings painted with clouds, and the bed sheets with gold. Couch, king size bed, desk, table, CD player, large TV, DVD player, iron, hair dryer… everything I might need or possibly want. Nearby: –It was right next to The Hook, a great seafood place. Highly recommended. –Gas station with everything you might need in a trip. Baby items, kitchen plates and cutlery, bath necessities and luxuries, toiletries, food like milk, cheese, and eggs. –right off the highway(but you can’t hear it from the rooms at all) –5 minutes away from just about any store you want.

Very nice motel that seems to be family owned. The employees were very friendly. We stayed in a double bed room for one night and then a king bed room for one night later in our trip. The rooms were spacious and clean. Definitely very nice accommodations for the price. They have an elevator. They have a washer and dryer for guests. They have a small pool with hot tub. They offer a complimentary breakfast including waffle batter so you can make Texas-shaped waffles! One of our rooms ran out of toilet paper. Both of rooms had no kleenex which we asked for some at the front desk but nothing was available. It was late March(early spring) so our seasonal allergies were kicking in. They have a very strict visitors policy(no visitors) and limit 2 guests per room(with the exception of families). Plenty of free parking. They are right next to a Whataburger. The neighborhood seemed safe to me — quiet and well-lit at night. I was not concerned for my safety, even at night, in the area. I would stay again and I would recommend it to others.
