The customer service here is always so friendly. I really like coming here. They always make sure that not only me, but all their customers have fresh and hot donuts. I will continue to do business with this donut shop.

This place always has customers any time of the day. I came by at 11 am to pick up some donut holes and the drive thru was packed with three cars in front of me. WHY? Because they have no intercom to take orders. You can’t make your order until you get to the order. This takes the motto, «we wont make it until you order it» to a whole other level! Once I got to the window, there is a small flyer of combos listed, but you pretty much are at the mercy of whatever price they tell you at the window since there is no signage that tells you the costs of items. If you go in, you can avoid this, but the area has some questionable people floating around all the time. My car is faster than my legs, so I’ll use the drive thru thank you very much! Since I hadn’t had donuts nor donut holes in several months, the fluffy sugary things were devoured before I got home, but they weren’t hot nor warm. I could have waited til I got home and warmed them up, but yeah I was tempted. I think I’ll pass next time or come early in the morning if I have a donut desire.

In California we don’t have any Kolaches so getting them from pretty much anywhere in Texas is what happens each time I’m down there. Sadly my family moved so we got them from Shipley’s this time and I thought they weren’t the best. I seem to remember them being a whole lot tastier then what Shipley’s had to offer, plus they seemed to taste like they had been sitting there all day. and I think they had. So I give this place and OK rating for the simple fact that they carry Kolaches but if you are looking for high quality ones, this isn’t the place to go.

On days when I had leftover lunch money, my best friend and I would head to Shipley’s. One ham and cheese kolache, one chocolate sprinkle and a medium Coke. Ahh, to have the metabolism of a 16-year-old. Nowadays if I’m lucky, it’s half a kolache and three hours at the gym. Followed by steamed broccoli. WHYDID I HAVETOGROWOLD?!
