I started with another lender with slightly better rate. But was not able to get it closed due to unreasonable requests from the lender. Glad I found Steve. The customer service Steve and his team provide is excellent. Steve is very knowledgeable and very patient to explain all the details of the process. His team is very efficient in process my application. In matter of days, my application got approved. Everything went through smoothly. Highly recommend Steve and his team!

This is my first time working with Steve, I called him when I search for lenders thru Unilocal since I had some questions on my personal situation when buying my first house, he was very knowledgeable and fast to reply thru the whole process, all his staff was very professional and the closing when smooth because of the great job they did. Steve just refinanced my house in Austin and it was a great experience. He got me a 15 year loan in the 3% range and my payments actually went down from my old loan that was 30 years. I plan to keep this house and pay it off, so it was great to refinance. Beyond the great rate, Steve was awesome to work with. Getting a loan is kind of a pain, so it helps to have someone who is super organized and patient. He’s also a really nice guy and just pleasant to deal with. This is the third time I’ve been through the mortgage process and by far the best. If you need a house loan, you should definitely call Steve Castaneda.

When in doubt he cross checked and came back with answers. Always provided timely updates even during the holiday brake. Second time went as smoothly as the first. Timely Communication is one thing that Steven excels at. He answered many of my questions and concerns even on the weekend and prompt at that. If you are a first time home buyer, Steve is almost too perfect since he will literally walk you through the process, educating you as to the real world of financing and buying a home.
Steven also has an infectious positive attitude, many times through my trying home buying process he would be there to give guidance as to
possible solutions to issues and problems. He does not focus on why it cant be done, but what can be done to fix the problem. Not once did i feel i could not trust Mr Castaneda. He is a gem as a loan officer and a diamond of a person.
Although I do not share the same thoughts about NF’s underwriting team, Steven and his staffs exemplary attention to detail and ethics still
compel me to give him personally my highest rating.

A couple months ago I had hard time deciding which lender I should choose to refinance my house. As I read online, there are lender who would do his/​her best to help the clients, but there are also the ones who don’t take their service seriously. I confided my worry to a friend and he recommended me to go with Network Funding because Network Funding had helped this friend to buy his house recently and he was extremely happy with this team’s service.
