Another bad subway. Went over to the fresh fit choice, expected it to be good. Roast beef was good, loved how they roast the beef on this one. But the place was really bad.

THis is the go to spot after the rec to go get you a bro meal. I have to say, that after a while, subway becomes extremely bland and it gets to a point where I can’t stand it. So my advice to you is, pace yourself, subway isn’t going anywheren

So let me start by saying that I used to enjoy subway but agree with @Daniel L. regarding this specific location. I only visited subway because I left my lunch at home AND because It’s avocado season. Silly me to actually think that I would be getting, whole, fresh, chopped pieces of avocado atop my salad versus a mashed up avocado in the form of a smooth paste. What the hell is that? Avocado should never be scooped like ice cream! I ordered the chopped salad yesterday(receipt # 389122) with a scoop of avocado slime and a scoop of tuna, which was the same damn consistency as the avocado goop. How is that possible? How is tuna the same consistency as avocado and both of them looked to have been squeezed from a tube? Neither tuna nor avocado should be scooped like ice cream. It’s possible that I got this whole idea that the picture of something on a menu should look like the food that I paying for but no, not at subway. I order the salad thinking that the lettuce I was to receive wouldn’t be the shredded sandwich lettuce but it was! So I requested both shredded lettuce and the spinach(hopping to add some sort of texture), tomatoes, cucumber and banana peppers. The server threw all of that into a bowl and went to chopping away with what resembled one of those old school potato mashers with the grip. She chopped my salad for at least a minute while I watched her in HORROR. I know that when you chop shredded lettuce you end up with mush. Well, I topped my mush with avocado slop and wet, tuna. It was awful. I paid $ 8.12 for a liquid salad. Not to mention the lettuce was brown. I am very hesitant to ever visit any subway ever again. With or without the stupid free cookie I was granted for completing the online survey. I am sure that the chocolate chips are roaches and the macadamia nuts are tiny, white pieces of cement rocks!

I had planned on having lunch here after the new student orientation at University of Houston, but upon my return my car had been towed from an unmarked parking space! I will never return to this establishment, you should be ashamed of yourselves for being associated with such a low life towing company that takes advantage of innocent people! My daughter will be attending UofH in the fall and she will be letting everyone know not to go to your Subway!

Quick, clean, fresh. Wednesdays are my Subway days. Staff isn’t friendly or smiley but they do know how to get you in and out! Lately I have an addiction to their double chocolate chip cookies :)

I was going to say«Worst Subway ever» but I believe that honor belongs to the Subway in the basement of the Law Center. So let’s talk about this one. Soda machine FAIL. Flat, disgusting soda. Vegetables are all sorts of colors and not necessarily the colors you think they traditionally should be. Sandwiches getting manhandled rather than gentle preparation and keeping the ingredients segregated, rather than mish-mashed haphazardly. Rude, unfriendly, uninteresting employees. And they have a hard time following a simple vegetable request like lettuce, pickles, tomato … Bad Subway, bad! Go outside and think about what you have done!

Although I’ve never really cared for this Subway, I didn’t feel compelled to write a review and say so until this morning when I tried the breakfast. I wish I had known better. I sort of did, but since it’s spring break, Wendy’s was closed. Let me just say though that no matter how hungry I was having woken up late and skipped breakfast before work, I would have been better off not eating at all. I ordered the egg and cheese on an English muffin. I was asked if I wanted regular eggs or egg whites, which I guess is a nice option for people, but I didn’t expect either to be healthy. Then I ordered two of them — one with American for my coworker and one with Swiss for me. They put one of those triangles of cheese that was smaller than the English muffin on it. I was then asked what kind of meat I wanted(Uh, I ordered egg and cheese.). When it was done, they did nothing to help me identify which sandwich had which kind of cheese. They didn’t vocalize it, didn’t note it on the paper packaging with marker, nothing. The sandwich didn’t come with any condiments. No ketchup. No mayonnaise. No jelly. It was cold; the English muffin was not toasted(not that I expected it to be; it was literally put in the toaster for about ten seconds). It was very dry and tasteless. I guess since I’m taking the time to write this, I may as well explain why I don’t like coming here for lunch, either. I don’t eat meat, so my choices are veggie delite and veggie patty. The veggie patties have a ton of calories in them, and are not worth it. They are also always cold. The veggies alone are often in poor quality. I have had many veggie sandwiches with wilted lettuce, less than par tomatoes, and soggy pickles. Then, when you get to the condiments it doesn’t matter if you want a little of something or a lot; they never listen and put whatever they feel like. The Verdict: Although I do prefer this Subway to the one in the University Center(where I once saw someone sneeze into a sandwich and continue making it), I do so by a very narrow margin. I pretty much avoid patronizing either of them whenever I have a choice.

Since I work within walking distance, I hit this Subway for lunch on a regular basis. My hopes are always high but my expectations are always low when I walk in the door. The staff are not friendly here as they try to rush you through the line. When they ask what you want on your sandwich, you have to ask for one ingredient at a time, or they’ll get completely lost and mess up. Sometimes they mess up so bad you have to ask for a new sandwich. Just last week my friend ordered a tuna salad sandwich and after she told them which veggies she wanted, they sprinkled parmesan cheese on it. After he had realized his mistake, the sandwich maker tried to scrape the parmesan cheese off her tuna salad sandwich. Can you imagine taking a bite into a tuna salad sandwich and tasting what my brother used to call«old smelly sweat socks» on top of it? Needless to say she asked him to make a new sandwich as that was unacceptable. He did so with only a minor attitude about it. They made her go to the back of the line and order the sandwich again. I understand that mistakes happen and people are busy. But, it seems that a sandwich maker would have common sense enough to ask before putting parmesan cheese on tuna salad. When ordering sauces here, be sure to ask for only a little otherwise, they’ll seriously bathe your sandwich in it. My wife and I are afraid to ask for lite mayo because even when you ask for«just a little bit» they squeeze it all over the bread. One more thing: For some reason, this particular subway smells so strongly of bread and sandwich ingredients that if you eat there, you will smell like the inside of a subway for the rest of the day. This can be nauseating and embarrassing if you have to sit next to someone at work or class after eating there. I suggest taking your sandwich over to the Wellness Center or eat it outside. All in all, this Subway is a much better choice than the one in the UC. But, if you have the time, transportation and wherewithal, go somewhere else.

It is just you average Subway. This is the place to go if you’re looking for healthier and cheap. It is especially worth while when they have the every sub for $ 5 deal. There really isn’t another place on campus that will get you this fill without the guilt(Extreme Pita is more expensive). Just like everyone has mentioned this location is kept very clean. However, one thing I am not too fond of is the smell of baked bread. It is great at first but can be annoying going into class smelling like Subway. My friends would always be able to guess where I had lunch that day. Also they also have sweet tea here. While the tea might not be as good as McAlister’s, it is still enough to satisfy my fix.

Quick, clean, easy to deal with Subway. Even when I walked in and saw a line, it moved quickly! The food is on par with any other subway, and I have been enjoying the $ 5 any sub promotion(which the store does a horrible job of advertising), but alas that promotion is ending so I doubt I’ll visit subway much more in the future. However, it is nice to know that there is an option for food almost anytime of the day for less than $ 6 that is conveniently located between where I park and where I spend the majority of my day!

This is a newer, and cleaner Subway than most. It’s located on the University of Houston’s campus, and is frequented almost exclusively by the university population, so it’s quite a bit safer than the other nearby location on Scott Street. Compared to the other Subway locations on-campus that are in university-owned buildings like the University Center or the Law Center, it’s open much later.
