Consistently unfriendly service and sloppy sandwiches. And flies around the vegetables.

Most subways are all the same, but this one I didn’t like. My sandwich tasted like cleaning solution!

A normal Subway that can get busy due to its location. It is tucked away from busy San Felipe so you can miss it if driving by quickly. However the place is clean, service is fast and Subway’s trademark fresh ingredients and healthy eating alternative to the Whataburger across the street are what have me remembering this location each time I need something quick and light. When you see the workers from the nearby Pizza Hut come in to get lunch, it can’t be a bad thing. I hope that they stay open because the stores next to them in this mini-strip mall haven’t fared well and their empty spaces make the area feel like a ghost town.

This location is in my neighborhood. In fact I remember watching them build this whole apartment/shopping center when I first moved here. I really am not a fan of the whole $ 1200 apartments on top and shopping on bottom and the mini-gentrification that’s happening to the neighborhood so I had not patronized and of the businesses here but it was lunch and I was in the area so I decided to give them a shot instead of going to the one on Woodway which has cramped parking. The parking is actually pretty great here. There is a wine bar next door and next to them is a karate place and during lunch, neither of those places are open so plenty of parking for the Subway. They also are smart enough to have the lunch line start at end so that way you can see the menu. The food and service is good too, but it’s Subway so you know what you’re getting basically.

It’s no secret I’m a Subway fan, eating soggy sandwiches from home aren’t fun or exciting. I pop into this location because most people don’t know about it, but as all the rest of them it gets BUSY. One thing I noticed yesterday is that Subway has changed up their menu to include personal pizzas(2 for $ 5) and a variety of other odd things like fritos on their sandwiches, and some mystery meat with Sirracha. No! The reason I like you Subway is for your fresh, healthy options, not because I want a personal pizza.(which by the way looked raw when I saw it) Plus it held up the line of people I was in that ordered what SUBWAY is for –SANDWICHES! Go back to the basics Subway!

This Subway always gets super busy at lunch time. Nevertheless, you’re taken care of and outta there in no time! The employees do their best to get your food ready accurately and fast. The environment is pretty clean, too! I’m going there for lunch today! Can’t wait! Plus, I have FREECOOKIE coupons!

This particular Subway is integrated with what seems like a Hospital/Clinic so if you are driving by fast enough you might miss it. The best landmark to find this is to look for the Whatabooger on the corner of San Felipe and a cross street that I cannot remember at the moment, look caddy corner and there it is. The help seems to be either stoic or would rather be somewhere else, but you are here just for the sammiches right? So ignore the emotionless zombies behind the counter and everything will be ok. This Subway is a tad smaller than the others that you might be used too so lunch rush might be standing room only. Parking is ok for the size of this place.

Clean. Nice employees. Had all the ingredients I asked for. Knew how to make things the way I requested. Overall, it’s just like any subway.

I do not know what happened to Subway, but over the years the quality of the sandwiches has gone downhill. They advertise fresh baked bread, but lately most of the sadhus I get the bread is dry and seems stale. And today I opted to get a bag of chips, and was surprised that they charged $ 1 for a 1.5 oz bag of chips. There is literally only a hand full of chips in that bag.
