Summerwood Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics

First time here, I had my appointment at 3:30 so I thought I’d come in early to fill out any paperwork needed. I’ve been sitting for almost 30 mins now and the only thing said was, «we’ll be with you in just a minute» (26 mins ago). There’s a worker behind the desk and I also see plenty off staff behind the wall just chatting away, I know they see me since I made eye contact with about 2 of them but still no assistance. I was really hoping for good service since I live in the neighborhood and it would be so convenient but no, I guess not.

Oh where do I begin with this dentist. I hate going to the dentist. I actually found a review on Unilocal that was positive for a place I dread going. And they accepted my insurance. I make an appointment for a cleaning and exam which was long overdue.
I go on my scheduled day and time and there is not anyone to greet me which is fine. I did notice there was an ipad where I can check in so I do and take a seat. About 10 minutes later I notice that there is a receptionist and talking to folks as they enter.
An hour into waiting I was acknowledged. Apparently the receptionist was at lunch when I checked in on the ipad and finally clicked that nonne has «seen» me.
I finally get taken back for 30 minutes of days and two hours for cleaning and told my course of action for my teeth. when I explained to the office manager I wanted to take it slow for financial reasons she said she understood and pressured me into applying for credit. in which I applied for. after all that I aparently okay ed for work done that I didn’t want done. I had to back petal on that.
after 2 n half hours later and an appointment set. I was frustrated and confused. I realized when ingot home that they charged card for the work I didn’t want done for that day. so I felt like I had to go back since I paid already via credit.
I go back to vet said work done and it’s 5 hours in office. I hear at 545 after they are closeed that’s why we are stuck here after close. really? can you make me feel worse?
I make an appointment for a couple of weeks later to finish the work I needed since I thought I already paid via credit. I go to said appointment. I am told that my out of pocket is xyz. when. I tell the receptionist I thought I already paid come to find out it was only the first round of treatment.. you think they could have been more clear at the beginning.

This was my 2^nd dental visit and once again, I was impressed. The receptionist, Dominic, was friendly and greated me as soon as I entered. I was seen on time and Dr. Rhodes answered all my questions. Before leaving, I was able to make my next 6 month appointment. The facility is paperless (which is good for the environment), modern and clean.

I highly recommend Summerwood Smiles Dentistry! The entire staff is awesome!
Dr Rhodes is hands down the most compassionate Dentist I have ever used… her bedside manner is truly personable and caring… I feel as though I am her only patient and that her concern is for me as a ‘whole person’ rather than just another set of teeth.
All other members of the staff were equally as awesome… Steve, Jessica and Cindy made sure my comfort was their only priority. I look forward to the continued service for many years to come!!!
