I wouldn’t say that this was a great hotel. What, pray tell, led me to staying at a Super 8 in Houston? Well… it’s a rather convoluted set of circumstances, but essentially, I was going to a wedding nearby and the bride’s hotel failed to followed through 100% on their assigned rooms, thereby causing at least 25% of the guests to have to find lodging elsewhere nearby. The Holiday Inn was booked so I figured, what the heck, the Super 8 can’t be terrible right? Well, I was partly right. It definitely wasn’t terrible. But, let’s face it, we aren’t talking about premium hotel space here. The paint on the walls was cracked and peeling. There were 1 – 2 large gouge marks along the wall. The equipment was old. There was what seemed to be a band playing in the next room over. That being said the bed was comfortable and smelled clean. I would say that, if circumstances more or less forced it upon you like it was upon me, then by all means, stay here. You’ll find a comfortable bed and if, like me, you were only planning on being in the room for say, 4 – 6 hours, then this is good enough. Otherwise, hop on Hotel Tonight and find another place close by.

My boyfriend and I came to this place after having a scary/disgusting 1 hour experience at a motel 6 in Spring, TX. The attendant was a very polite and nice girl. Walking into the room, it smelled fresh; everything looked nice and clean. No streaks on mirrors or stains on sheets. The bathroom even had granite walls in the tub area! The bed was very comfortable and had a generous amount of good smelling pillows. All in all, we were extremely satisfied with the price and customer service. We even returned the following night and stayed in a different room and we were just as pleased. The parking lot is nice and bright and has cameras. I definitely felt safe and comfortable here.

Absolutely Horrible!!! Save yourself and do not stay here! Roaches everywhere! My boyfriend and I were on a trip from California and needed a place to sleep for a couple of hours before resuming our trip into San Antonio! We stopped here and rented the room walked in and immediately saw a dead roach on the ground near the bathroom. I as a woman started freaking out(naturally) and was very hesitant of even pulling down the covers, of course we did only to find another roach! This one was still very much alive! I went to the front desk and asked for a refund! By this point(1 am) I was more than willing to just keep driving back to San Antonio! The man at the front desk insisted that what I called a roach was in his opinion a «fly» and that I did not deserve a refund! He yelled at me and called me «stupid» for remaining to think it was a roach && trust me when I say what I saw were ROACHES! we ended up calling the police because the attendant in the office verbally assaulted me and got in my face simply because I asked for my money back! We ended up leaving and driving through the night to San Antonio! PLEASEPLEASEDONOTSTAYHERE! ITWASSODIRTYANDTHEATTENDANTWASBEYONDRUDE!
