This place is very hospitable and it’s a better value than any place I’ve been to. The rooms are very clean, very nice. The service there is excellent and the staff is friendly. Free Wi Fi is very convenient for work I had to do and good reception. And the complimentary breakfast was good! The manager was very helpful, giving us suggestions for sites around the area, like Galveston and how to get there. Above all service and location to stay whether it’s a vacation or a staycation. I definitely will be planning to go back!

Friendly staff, clean room, free wifi. Newly updated bathrooms. Waffle House next door. Though they have free breakfast at the motel.

This is the cheapest, but cleanest hotel or motel in this area. It’s not like«you get what you paid for» kind of vibe. The owners, husband and wife are so nice and accommodating. If you aren’t sure with what the wifi password is, just ask they’ll tell you. However, the wife loves to stare, which made me uncomfortable. Make notice that some of the rooms downstairs are smoking and some are smoke-free. I wouldn’t get a smoking room if you aren’t used to the smell and having your clothing smell like an ashtray. No matter what fragrance you buy to mask the smell, cigarette smell is strong enough to overwhelm you. Now, the parking is cramped. Since this is the only nice clean cheap hotel in this area, it’s a lot of visitors clutter the parking spots, so get here early during evening. Although, during the day and early morning everyone is browsing around Houston. The beds are firm, not soft, but the pillows are soft, not firm. They have complimentary breakfast from 6 am to 9am, but in the lobby or you can go next door to the Waffle House. I wish they would really update the pamphlet in the room, it states restaurants on there that are out of business, for instance, Bonnie’s Seafood and Steak, Prince’s Hamburgers, and Black Eyed Peas. Unfortunately, the pamphlet in my friend’s room was completely destroyed since someone let their bad rugrats draw all on the insides of the pages. Plus, the given restaurants aren’t very good and totally outdated. Like Olive Garden on Fuqua, Joe’s Crab Shack on Fuqua and even Sicily Pizza on Scarsdale. The hotel is located in a very congested area, so the intersection may be difficult to enter and exit the hotel with the bad and careless drivers of Houston. Overall, this is a better choice to stay at since it isn’t near the super ugly parts of Houston like near the airport or off the Gulf Fwy.

This place is clean and the staff is extremely helpful. It is definitely one of the better establishments in this price range in the area. If you’re expecting the Hyatt Regency, then go to the Hyatt Regency, but if you’re looking for reasonably priced accommodations that are well maintained, look no further.

Just stayed here after my flight was cancelled. Manager was incredibly accommodating even for my late arrival. Rooms look recently refinished, clean, all basic amenities. As nice as a double tree/holiday inn but only $ 65! Would recommend.

Stayed at this Super8 for a few hours since my flight had gotten delayed. I called the office and the manager was nice enough to wait for us for a late arrival. I booked my room via Expedia for only. $ 52 which was great. The only cons were I was In a non smoking room, but the room smelled like smoke and the bed sheets had holes in them. Whoever does the cleaning needs to clean behind the nightstands as they were dusty. But if you need a quick stay with a friendly staff I would recommend.

This is a re-brand and reno of what used to be the Scottish Inn. Everything in the rooms are redone except the actual structure of the building. New bedding, furniture, couches, even granite countertops at a super 8 haha. Overall pretty decent stay as everything is new. There is a Waffle house right beside the hotel open 24⁄7 and a 24⁄7 Walmart across and further down the road. So for you guys looking for a cheap stay($ 65 a night), come check this place out before time passes and the usual Super 8 grime and nasty smell sets into the rooms as they become, not so new.
