I rarely write reviews but I just had to for this one particular experience… We placed a delivery order thru this app called«24». We got our food about an hour after we placed it… I think they cook all the takeout orders at once and have just one delivery person cus our food wasn’t warm and my chicken shawarma was soggy and not very tasty at all. We also ordered buffalo wings which tasted very much like tyson’s frozen wings from Walmart, 2 chicken salads which we only received ONE order of chicken… And no dressing –__– at all… We paid 15 $ extra for delivery and expected our order to be correct, we contacted the app we ordered from(24) where we spoke to a rep. We told her we paid for 2 chicken salads and got only one order of chicken and no dressing… She was very understanding told us the restaurant said we could«throw away» the food and we will get refunded. We even offered them to come back to take the food but they insisted on us keeping it and we didn’t have time to bring it there cus if we did… Why would we pay 15 $ for delivery??? Here’s the crazy part; I guess the owner wasn’t happy that we were refunded and blew up my phone. She was extremely rude, never ever had I experience such horrible customer service. She basically called me to tell me I was wrong and to never order from there again. Ha don’t worry, I won’t. She then called again and said she was going to come to my house to get the food with a cop and that if I took even a bite of it, she will prosecute me. Lol… I don’t recommend this place for anyone. The experience was horrifying and the food wasn’t great at all, it was bland, basic, and there are many Mediterranean places around that are so much better! I should’ve just stuck with Jones Friend Chicken

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I never had such a terrible experience at a restaurant. My friends and I decided to get food delivered to our house and hoping this place would turn out good since the reviews are kind of 50⁄50. Unfortunately it did not turn out this way, we were literally missing half of each thing we ordered and there was an excuse for everything. We went through an app called 24 which they were very understanding and resolved everything for us. BUT,(1st phone call) this crazy lady blew up one of my friends phone that she found under the account and said basically we were wrong and said something about a recharge and to never call there again. I told her this is unprofessional and this is definitely not how you run a business and I hung up. (2nd phone call) Few minutes later, she calls again!(Mind blown) is this not called harassment? She called to say they were coming back to take back the food with police officers and if we had any bite of the food we would be prosecuted. And might I add i told 24 for them to come back to pick up the food earlier and refund us and the restaurant told them to tell us to throw it away. I told her it’s too late because we aren’t even home anymore and I hung up again. We ordered: tabouli(which we never received) spicy buffalo chicken wings(tasted like the frozen buffalo wings at the grocery), chicken shawarma(we had a nibble and it tasted nothing like a shawarma, and threw it away) 2 chicken salads(it came with one side of chicken, which we didn’t even touch, note: there was no dressing, definitely not edible) Sorry for the long review but I just had to share my unpleasant experience. I will surely never order from here again and make sure to never recommend anyone here either.

Very small family run restaurant. Located next to a gas station. Staff is very friendly. Very casual. Good, fresh food. Good for. Quick bite to eat.

Good local restaurant! So many delicious choices made to order. I enjoyed the schnitzel and of course the Israeli salad, hummus, and fresh hot pita. It has a friendly family vibe and the service was fast. Definitely coming back!

Great local place. If you can get over that it is attached to a gas station. Don’t let that fool you food is fresh and authentic. I had a shawarma, Lebanese cigars and hummus.

Horrible! The food is expensive and disgusting! I’m new to town and went in for lunch with a friend. It was a little disturbing to eat in a gas station. That was definitely my first sing that this place was going to be gross. The dinning area is weird; I wasn’t sure where to sit and there was no service at all! I was shocked at the prices for what you get! The chicken cutlet looked like the chicken at been sick in life and they put it out of it’s misery. The vegetables were soggy. My friend has some weird Chinese dish and the food is greasy and clearly NOT fresh. For those prices I expected something better, or at least edible. Suzie was NASTY! Horrible woman. The way she treats and speaks to costumes is despicable. I heard she had a really bad reputation, and now I completely understand way. I know I’m spoiled by all the kosher restaurants in Miami, but this was beyond bay. Beyond horrible. The Jewish community in Houston deserves better than Suzie. Hopefully one day we won’t have to put up with her disgusting food and nasty personality.

Took my girlfriend here for a light meal and regretted it immediately. Completely in awe that it seemed poorly located between a gas station and a jack in the box. The inside reflected so, too. Awkward dining area in what should be a fast food type joint. We were the only customers aside a man in the corner who may have been homeless. Our server was very friendly, though maybe too busy with the drive thru, business phone, cash register, and food plating. We ordered(seemingly) authentic Greek dishes though oddly American, Chinese, and Tex-Mex were available too. The food was mediocre but I’m also more apt to Niko Nikos and Theos. Didn’t care for the green rice at all. A very strange but unique place that could be a gem with the right owner. Won’t be back until then, though.

All their food is great but it’s expensive! I love their shawarmas, french fries, & beef plates. The kids chicken nuggets were good too but it was $ 5.00 per meal which was a little pricey. Overall good food and service :)

My daughter and I recently ate at Suzi’s Grill. The menu had lots of choices, the service was wonderful, and our meal was fantastic. Suzi was very helpful and friendly. My daughter, who moved to Houston last week walked out saying to me, «I feel that Houston is already home». Thank you Suzi for making my daughter feel at home in her new city.

In a word«haimish». The atmosphere is a cross between my dining room and a fast food joint. It’s small, with the tables close together, and people are talking to each other from table to table, which is, I guess, a reflection of the tight knit Houston Jewish community. Food was tasty. I had the steak, medium rare, which was delicious. Israeli salad was crisp and fresh. Service was reasonable, and I found the prices pretty standard for a kosher place. I would definitely recommend Suzie’s… But I wouldn’t bring work colleagues here, really… Not unless they are really good friends with a sense of humor.

So it’s a kosher restaurant in the side of a Chevron with a few tables and a drive through. The menu is all over the place, but it’s probably in tune with the neighborhood: kababs, burgers, and Chinese food. The people who run it are very nice, but their prices are pretty high. Most entrees are over $ 10. Maybe it’s because it’s all kosher it costs that much. I did enjoy my lunch, but I’m having a hard time coming to grips with paying $ 21 for two chicken kabobs, some rice, and a can of soda in the side of a Quickie Mart.

I love Suzie’s! The food is good and it is convenient, esp. with the drive thru. That said, I wish the inside was a little more welcoming for a sit down lunch place, but I do love the people and the food, so I’m a regular.

I ate at Suzie’s after they moved to their new location. It’s much smaller. They took over the fast food spot adjacent to a Chevron station. The food is food, but nothing fancy. They do have a drive-thru window now.

Suzie’s prides itself on being the first Kosher restaurant in Houston and thus… the best. I used to go to this place a lot when one of my good friends went religious on me(he now lives in Israel) and this was the only place we could have a meal together… I really like the Israeli Salad, coarsely chopped cucumbers and tomatoes, drenched in lemon juice. The Turkey Shuwarma is delish and the fries it is served with are pretty good, making it a good combo. The Moroccan Cigars served with Tahini sauce were interesting, reminded me of a Mediterranean version of a taquito… This place seems always packed and is heavily patroned by the Jewish community, where it is located smack in the middle of near the NY Bagel shop. I hear the falafel’s are really good, but I find this place slightly overpriced…
