Be careful. The agents tend to promote properties that they list and don’t give prospective buyers or renters an accurate representation of the market. They also apply high-pressure practice — rent/buy or the property being shown will be gone in a day. I guess that’s typical of the industry. The plain truth — Houston is a buyer’s market. Even in an upswing/resurgent market(2014), there are plenty of available units for purchase or rental. This is not NY, SFO or LA and it never will be, either. However, the Teachout group and Tristan Broussard often mischaracterize the market and try to convince people to buy quickly. They also seem to promote properties that are on the higher end of the spectrum and that do not accurately reflect market pricing. Tristan Broussard doesn’t look out for his clients. He is quick to ‘seal a deal.’ I guess he would rather convince someone to buy or rent a more expensive unit so that he collects a higher commission. I would be careful about using this group, in future.

The Teachout Group should be your go to real estate company in Houston! Within the past few years, Jessica has helped me with the major feats of closing my first home purchase and leasing out my condo in town. Both transactions were seamless, and she is courteous, professional, and friendly throughout. The amount of research and effort she puts in is evident in all her work. A native Houstonian, Jessica has an intimate knowledge of all the neighborhoods inside the loop. She is dependable, dedicated, trustworthy, and responsive. I would highly recommend that her as an agent!
