The catfish is really good.

We were pleasantly surprised. Clean restaurant and friendly service. We got the fried catfish and shrimp, baked potato and fried shrimp. What we liked the most was that the shrimp and catfish was lightly breaded, not a heavy batter at all. We had also gotten the crab cakes and boudin as appetizers. I was hoping for a lil’ more of a kick with the boudin but it was still okay. The price is what sets this place apart from all the others. Very easy on the wallet.

The seafood gumbo is amazing here one of the best I have tried! You must check out the Gumbo!!! Yummmmmmmy!

Love this place! Been coming here since my police academy days. It truly does you justice with portions and a bang for your buck. The staff is welcoming and if you don’t want to wait over at the new Pappadeuax but want the same flavor, this is it! The crawfish are always as low as 4.99 a pound and they run daily specials! Go specials between 8.99 to 17.99.

I love it’s fried rice n come to pick u my To-​GO often. Every time I saw this post I feel funny. From restaurant point of view «no tip, no service» but it does make me feel that the restaurant «charge me» if I want its waitstaff to take my order, delivery my food n refill my drink. What happen to the «no service no tip»? Is this the right for customers?
I have 5 years restaurant waitress service before. I know the feeling when u provided friendly service n did nothing wrong to upset ur customers n they left u little or nothing on the tab. It does hurt when a waitstaff hourly wage is about $ 2.15. However, it possible only happens few times. I believe if management post «no tip no service» sign, it will not encourage its waitstaff to provide good service to its customers. When a customer left u no tip, it’s always better to review yourself first. It’s just my point of view. I admit, I am chicken; even I am picking up my to go, I always leave tip because I don’t know what restaurant will do to my food next time I order. Go ahead laughing at me.

this place is very good, its owned by one of my close friends relative so i decided to check out the place, it has a very nice homey atmosphere and you will not regret the delicious food that this place has to offer. make sure to come hungry because you will miss out on alot of the good food if you don’t order multiple types of food. so be sure to check out this place

Nothing to brag about. Just seafood. No lobster rolls either. Looks like a truck stop restaurant.

Great food, decent service, friendly staff. Fried seafood was all excellent. Nice atmosphere. Sweet tea tasted a little old and the homemade tartar sauce and cocktail sauce was kind of blah. Overall, I would come back, would recommend.

Recently visited with a new beau…
Would have given 4 stars, but I called ahead to ensure BYOB, and a young girl confirmed it. However, when I arrived with bottles in hand, a young man informed us that BYOB had stopped…
BUT food was great: hot, fresh, cheap, & colorful…
Somewhat of a greasy spoon, but a good one…

Went on a slow day. Had our salad immediately and our food in 10 minutes.
Grilled Chicken was a little dry but still good and the Grilled Red fish was Delicious! The vegetables and rice were ok.
Prices were relatively cheap. Paid $ 25 for two meals and a side of fries.
I would come here again.

Very decent diner style restaurant on the side of a Quality Inn. Both fried and grilled seafood were done well. Prices are easy on the wallet. I would eat here again.

If you like fried shrimp in a tempura batter, this is the best! Quaint and quiet (except for sports on the big screen). My mother and I eat here at least 2 – 3 times a month and have never been disappointed. Their stuffed baked potato is the biggest — fresh and brimming with my favorite toppings. Sam and his wife do the cooking themselves and Sam always comes out to say hello. I always can get 15 of the tastiest fried shrimp with stuffed baked potato and salad — just for $ 12.99! You gotta try this restaurant and tell Sam that Bobbie sent you!

Only been here once for dinner. Place was empty. We ordered fried shrimp and a order of shrimp fried rice. Loved it! Will definitely go back and order the same thing.

been looking for a new place for fish since I kinda burned out on my last two spots. This place is close to the budwiser factory off I10 you exit mecury and make the U turn there if headed east on ten.
I have tried a few things here all the pics so far are mine. I tried the gumbo first time here, I never had a gumbo with cat fish in it. It was not bad at all but still a bit different cant say bad cant say great either. But what is great are the oysters they are nice I mix my horse radish with the cocktail sauce and they are great eats.
The next thing I tried was the seafood platter (you gotta try everything right). I had catfish shrimp and a crab cake for 9.99 and it comes with fries and slaw. The fries are good you get your sweet potato fries mixed with regular fries that have some batter on them pretty good. The slaw sucks and is soggy and drowning in sauce. The catfish is a winner and is very good fried right tasted very fresh and had some spice to it. now the Krabie Patty was another matter, Sponge Bob would be dissapointed with this dry tasteles thing. I cant even say I tasted crab in it, and you could tell it was premade and frozen solid they must never sell them much. The shrimp though are nice and tasty very good I must say I like the batter on them and they were about on par with the cat fish. You can order just fish and shrimp 2 fish 6 shrimp is 9.99. Thats what I will order next time along with some oysters to start.
