The Dentists at Town & Country Village

I recommend Dr. Rhea to everyone I know. I have literally had those friends & acquaintances call me back to say, «Oh my goodness, thank you so much! We love him!»
He headed up the Texas Dental Association and his bedside manner is, hands down, number one! We love him as do our teens!

I have been with Dr. Ewing my entire life, so about 18 years now. He and the rest of the office are wonderful. They are always extremely accommodating and very friendly. The office is new, spacious and comfortable. I was able to schedule a last-​minute appointment during my break from school and they even had time to schedule me in for a quick filling that took less than 30 minutes. I’ve never once dreaded going to the dentist!

Dr. Ewing is great! He is very knowledgeable and attentive to the patients. 5 stars!
This place is 1.5-hours drive for us, but we come here for all our dentist needs.
I am thankful to the front-​desk staff who are usually trying to accommodate our appointments on the schedule convenient for us (due to a long drive).
But I am not 100% happy with the front/​business office. Every so often something happens that causes some disappointment.
On our initial visit, some three-​four years ago, I had a big disappointment, primarily due to the lack of proper communication from the personnel, where I was left waiting in the doctor’s chair for some 50 minutes, while I was hungry, and could have used that time for a lunch.
Another time, they filed the charges for the service and added a superfluous word that was used as an excuse for the insurance to deny the coverage. It took some time of talking back and forth with the business office to convince them to re-​file it correctly. This type of incidents, when happen, leave a residue (not on the teeth), a sort of «after-​taste».
Recently, when my wife needed an additional (unplanned) work to be done after the regular check-​up, they scheduled us with a different doctor who was the only one who had availability on the same day. It was nice, but it followed with an unpleasant surprise: a bill that was larger than previously for the same type of job.
Apparently, for some (fairly major) insurances, only Dr. Ewing is in network, and other doctors aren’t. I understand there could be business reasons for that. But my biggest problem is that the staff didn’t bother to warn about that. (And without insurance coverage and network rates, this place is pretty expensive!)
So, yes, we like Dr. Ewing, and would highly recommend him, but check your insurance coverage and watch your bill!

Wonderful experience with Hope, and excellent care from Dr. Hollenbeck. Him and his assistant reacted quickly and effectively in repairing a broken tooth the same morning I came by without an appointment. I was visiting a friend in town and this is who he recommended. Very much appreciate the care I was given here.

Can’t believe I’m writing a 5 star review for a dentist’s office… but yes, after many a horrible dental experience I have found a wonderful dentist! Dr. Rhea has an amazing bed side manner. I hadn’t gone to the dentist in way longer than I’d like to admit, but he didn’t make me feel bad about it, just sent me on the right path! I will say that not only is Dr. Rhea amazing, but so is all of the staff. The dental hygienists are so nice and the front desk is more than accommodating. For the first time in my 27 years I can say that I don’t mind going to the dentist!

This is the new location for the dentists who used to be located in 909 Frostwood, ste 360.
Everything here is brand new, ultra-​modern, yet relaxing and about as inviting as I suppose a dentist’s office can be. They’ve done a fantastic job with décor and offices. The waiting room is spacious and comfortable. Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly.
Nice touch: the articulated flat screen TVs over each dental chair with your choice of programming (including ambient music with pictures, if you just want to chill).
