The Sleep Better Store

I’ve never left a negative review for any company, but I feel compelled in this case to warn others. This is one of the shadiest, most unprofessional businesses I’ve ever made a purchase from. I bought a mattress in July that felt comfortable in the store but turned out to be extremely uncomfortable when slept on all night. They have a 120-​day satisfaction guarantee, so I went into the store and spoke with Angela about replacing that mattress for another one. I was fine with the $ 69 exchange fee, and we talked about me getting the new mattress in about a week. Over the next six weeks, neither Angela (store manager) nor Larry (owner) would give me a date on the delivery of the replacement mattress. They kept saying that they’ll look into it and get back with me, but they never did. To give her credit, Angela did try to help more as time went on, but her hands were tied as Larry controls all exchanges and refunds. But Larry basically ignored my exchange request in hopes that I’d go away. I was forced to file a dispute with my credit card company. As expected, I won the dispute and was refunded the money. This whole process was a huge inconvenience. I must warn anyone who wishes to shop here that if you don’t pick out the right mattress on day one, you will NOT get a replacement mattress and you will NOT get a refund, despite all of their «satisfaction guaranteed for 120 days» claims. Buyer beware!

DO NOT PURCHASE! READ THIS FIRST! I purchased a Dream Number Bed from this store/​company and want to return the frame part of the bed (within the 90-​day return period). However, today I tried to go to the website… it’s «gone.» Not even a 404 error… it just goes to a white, blank site. Tried to email the sales and customer service teams to ask for the return procedure, using the original email address on their email confirmation receipt… all emails bounced back immediately. Tried to call the 877 number… after two rings, phone just stops ringing… no answering machine… no nothing.
This place has either JUST gone out of business or it’s a TOTAL SCAM. See for yourself:

I went to this store the other day to buy a mattress for my daughter. This was the last stop I was going to make before going to Sams and getting her a Serta memory foam mattress for $ 500, including box and frame. I let the sales associate know this and she offered me an offer I couldn’t refuse, you know, the one that is too good to be true… She offered me a two thousand dollar mattress for the same price as the one at SAMs and it was a great mattress. When they brought the mattress from the back, it was NOT the mattress she offered me. It was the cheapest mattress in the store and she tried to convince me it was as the same as if I couldn’t tell! She finally admitted it was not the same mattress and told me if I wanted the one she offered me for $ 500 then I would have to pay the full price of $ 2000! I am very disappointed and will NEVER be back to this store!

So it’s been about six months since I bought from Dream Number Beds. After exhaustive research («There must be someone out there offering a so-​called sleep number bed for less than Select Comfort does») I found these guys. I spoke to them by phone 3 – 4 times before making my purchase. In every single call, they were courteous and non-​pushy. Ultimately, I bought their $ 2,100 King-​sized mattress that turned out to be better than Select Comfort’s $ 3,500 model. It came in several boxes and went together easily. What I really liked was that this mattress had a CoolMax fabric top– that same anti-​wicking material used on sportswear.
The labels on the remotes were unclear and didn’t seem to match the instructions so I called them for help about a week after setting up the mattress. The lady I spoke to was knowledgeable and helpful.
