TownePlace Suites Houston Westchase

This hotel is ok but the breakfast here sucks! If you need a good breakfast to get you day started then don’t eat here!

I normally stay at the Marriott westchase but this week it was sold out. I called and used my points for this place. They were super friendly over the phone and even said they would try to accommodate my noon check in.
I got there at 11 am and was pleasantly greeted by a nice front desk lady. She asked what floor and I requested the highest. The place is super clean and free parking. I realized after booking it that it was only cindidered 2 and half star and the Marriott is 3 and half so I was a bit concerned but the reviews in other places were great so I opted here instead of Fairfield arunde the corner.
My keys didn’t work at first as they had a computer gitcha but she fixed it right away. The room is great! Refrigerator, small kitchenette. Nice bathroom and huge king bed. Even has a sofa wrh a work space for my computer.
So far so good and I am staying all week so I will see how that goes but just the fact they checked me in, they have a full Co to entail breakfast and the place is super clean since it’s new… I like it.
Even feels cleaner than the original marriott westchase.

2 weeks ago, after checking into Towneplace Suites in Houston Westchase I found bed bugs crawling across the sheets. I took a picture and a video, gathered my suitcase, went downstairs and quietly told the desk clerk about it, showed her the video and left for a different hotel. I truly expected management to contact me to apologize for my inconvenience of having to find another hotel at 11PM, but they never called. After complaining to Marriott and specifically asking them to have the GM contact me I received a fairly nasty email from the Asst GM saying they didn’t have bed bugs.
Well, that is just not ok! If you don’t acknowledge them and treat specifically for them they will multiply and infest everyone that stays there! I’ve decided that the only way to get them to fix the problem is to post the video I took of the bug crawling across the sheets! I am hoping this spurs Marriott to look at the incompetence of the management in this hotel! #towneplacesuiteshoustonwestchase #marriott #bedbugnightmare
