I’m sure this place is fine for students who just need to go pick up prints left by their profs. But I would definitely not recommend it to anyone needing copies made for any other purpose. First of all, it’s around the corner from the City’s plan reviewers office. If they were smart they would offer reprographic services as the City keeps sending people here to make reprographic copies. For those wondering what reprographics is… it’s basically copying documents that contain images, ie architectural drawings. When I asked the girl if she new a someone providing reprographic services she had no clue what I was talking about. Come on. You work at a copy center. In addition, I asked her to make three copies of a stack of documents making sure to collate them. Her response was basically that I would have collate and copy myself. I told her if there was an up-charge to have her do it, I was willing to pay as I had other business to take care of and I was on a deadline. She told me she would get me started so I could take over and she could make the large scale copies of the architectural drawings. Ugh, fine. I expressed that I was in a crunch. I asked if anyone else there could help. Her response was no. She took her sweet ass time and talked on her cell phone the entire time she made my copies. Really? Finally I told her I had a flight to catch and asked if another employee could go ahead and ring me up. The person ringing me up had to be one of the slowest people around. She asked me how many 8.5×11 copies I had made. I don’t know, I wasn’t aware it was my responsibility to keep track. She made me count each piece of paper. So 600 sheets later she input it into the register. Then the architectural drawings. How many? I don’t know, again, I didn’t know it was my responsibility to count the number of copies the girl was making. The slow ass girl took her sweet ass time again counting. And $ 819, 2 hours, and one pissed customer later I was on my way.
