Walgreens

This is by far the best pharmacy I have been to. The same people have been working at the pharmacy for years and they are just amazing. It is like a small neighborhood pharmacy where they remember you and make sure you are a satisfied patient. I live about fifteen minutes away, but I drive farther just to go to this one. Ann the pharmacist is just amazing and so helpful, she does her job very well and is a really kind person to boot!

The pharmacist Ann is just wonderful. Her professionalism is a cut above. It is so obvious that she loves helping patients and is very knowledgeable.
The supporting pharmacy staff are such kind people and they treat my mother with respect and compassion.
I am a doctor myself and I would be very comfortable calling prescriptions into this Walgreens.

I’ll update the review later, once I get a better feel for the store part, but from what I’ve seen it’s your basic Walgreens.
However the pharmacy has improved from the original reviewer complaint dating back to 2012. I had an issue with the prescription given to me by the doctors next door. After they kept sending me back and forth, one pharmacist in particular was so annoyed for me, she took the situation into her own hand, called them, and basically handled the situation explaining how my insurance wasn’t cooperating, and they had to give me an alternative. She was stern, but professional. Honestly, she didn’t have to do it, and I even listened as she explained step by step what the issue was with the insurance and how the doctor could rectify it.
Maybe all pharmacists do this, but I’ve never seen it before and considering I felt like crap, I was thankful for her intervention. I would have gone home still sick or better but broke, because I had to pay for a medicine way out of my price range, which my particular insurance didn’t bother to care for the «substitutions allowed» note as that medicine was just all around not improved. Which reminds me, she even gave them options of what to prescribe by telling them this is similar, that is similar. She’s pretty cool. I can’t remember her name, just an older woman with blond hair. If you see her, you’ll know, because she’ll take the time to do things right. Hell, that’s worth coming back to this Walgreens as far as I’m concerned.

Horrible staff
I am a physician and had an terrible experience at this location. Staff made a mistake and delayed my patient’s medicine for two days. When I called, she would put me on hold for more than 20 mins. When I request to speak to a pharmacist after she admit that she can not locate the order which she placed the day before, she simply told me the pharmacist is busy and just put me on hold for another 20 mins. When I showed up in person at the store, she was in such foul mood and yelled at me for being upset about the mistakes that she is responsible. I will not recommend this location to any of my patients.
