Walgreens

Thankfully this Walgreens is in my building so whenever I am sick and need a prescription filled, need my B12 injections or have a pounding headache, cough or even an allergic reaction to something, I can always count on them to have what I need stocked.
I recently had an issue that involved them not ever uploading my insurance information that I had given them 2 yrs ago; I never put 2 & 2 together when I’d pay for my prescriptions until I decided to register for an online account. After researching, I found my insurance was not loaded; I walked right down & spoke with a pharmacist who researched my account, apologized profusely… AND since someone carelessly failed to input the info, I was given a gift card to make up for 2 yrs of overpaying… apparently there was some weird discount card info on file that we have no idea where it came from.
Oh, and let me not forget to mention that eventhough it doesn’t have everything a regular Walgreens has, we can always get some kind of snacks or drinks when the urge arises.

Friendly, detailed and efficient. Obviously a high volume pharmacy with healthy sundry options for snacking. Ironically healthy food options are not always available in the medical center’s vending machines.

I think over the years Walgreens service has gone downhill. I would hope that after CVS started to pop up, they would improve their CS.
The employees are not the best or brightest in the world. And CS is not on their top priority especially this one.

Where does Walgreens find these employees? They are ridiculously dumb. First, they told me that they will get my medication ready asap. Which took 30 minutes, then they had a completely different address… I don’t live in California! From there on they just kept making it worse. I will never go back again or refer patients to this so called «Walgreens.»
