Well then Sunday morning on the road is bad enough but coming to a coffee place at a travel plaza that has only person working is a joke to me! There is only white sugar also when I asked for raw sugar the girl«didn’t know» how hard is it ? I ordered a 16 oz skinny latte with a extra shot of espresso and it was fast and utterly tasteless I wonder if she put the shot in I pays for and it was still so weak or if she just forgot it? Avoid this place!

I stopped in to grab a Madagascar Vanilla Latte around 9am and I was told they may not have that anymore. The lady said she normally doesn’t work in GJ and is usually in Hardee’s. I asked if they served coffee drinks and she said yes, however she couldn’t make me one… I walked out empty handed and slightly confused as to why there would be a GJ in a rest stop that couldn’t make what’s on the menu. I’m not sure if this is par for the course on any other given day, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up for a caffeinated pick me up from this GJ.

Two stars is being generous! My mocha latte with an extra shot tasted like chocolate milk! It was almost five dollars. The service was good so this is how they ended up with two stars

I couldn’t tell you if the coffee was good. While traveling, I decided I needed a cup of Joe. I see GJC and pull over at the travel station. 715 am… they aren’t open. They don’t open until 730. 730?! Isn’t this a coffee shop on a toll road? Doesn’t 730 seem a bit late to be opening?

I LOVE Gloria Jean’s K cups so I was excited to see this coffee stop pop up at travel plazas on my recent trip to Chicago. Listen, the other dining options at these travel plazas were crap but this coffee joint was pretty good! My sister, who is a coffee snob, proclaimed her option(Madagascar Vanilla Caramel Latte) just a touch too sweet. For me, it was right on the money! We stopped going and coming so I was able to try two of their drinks. I went for one of their seasonal options first: Mocha Maple Chiller. It was tasty, just sweet enough, but it did leave somewhat of a strange aftertaste. The next time around I went for a Madagascar Vanilla Caramel Latte. SO good! They were a bit pricey in my opinion but no more so than Starbucks. If you’re passing through Indiana and need a pick-me-up, stop here!

Get an extra shot in your medium latte — weak. Don’t ask for a cup of water unless you want to pay $.88 for it.

I was skeptical about Gloria Jean’s Coffee because I’m admittedly sort of a tea snob, and I wanted a chai latte to drink on the road back to Cleveland. But, I’m also intolerant of dairy milk. So I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Gloria Jean’s has soy milk! And, their chai tea wasn’t bad! The service was also friendly and this little stop was clean and well-kept. They have a selection of sweets such as muffins and pastries. In the middle of a subpar travel plaza, otherwise. ps. Can someone please add an apostrophe between the«n» and s” in «Jeans» on this Unilocal page? – it’s driving me crazy!

They had exactly what I needed, good coffee to keep me alert for the rest of my drive. The only complaint I had was that it was a little higher priced than most coffee shops. I don’t know if it’s because it’s at a travel plaza and they raise their prices or they have better quality so it’s higher priced. It was good so I’m hoping it’s the latter. They just had 1 girl working so the service wasn’t extremely fast because she was making a drink for another customer when I got there, but it wasn’t too bad and she was pretty friendly.

This might be the sketchiest travel plaza I’ve ever visited.
