Been in twice. Both times I was treated like they could care less I was there. Doubtful there will be a third time. Can’t post unless I give it at least one star, so read no stars.

Came from out-​of-​town; called ahead and understanding was per an ad that they had a few used bikes for sale. They didn’t. Salespeople were very lukewarm. No recommendations, no thank you on the way out, could have spent my time better. For new bikes, they’re probably ok, but didn’t see any particularly decent deals.

I ordered a helmet from these jokers, and I was told it would be about a month for delivery. I paid in advance (common for special order parts, etc.), took my receipt and left.
When the time came and went, and I didn’t get a call back, I started calling and leaving messages. Eventually, I was told that they had no record of the order or receipt but said they would place an order that day.
A few days later, I called the manufacturer. They said they had no record of any new orders from Howell Cycle. (So, again, the dealership didn’t do anything…)
However, the helmet company assured me that my order would ship that day, and they sent the helmet to the dealership… who then never called to let me know that it arrived. I had to call them AGAIN to find out that it was there.
Maybe I’m a sucker, or maybe these guys are scammers. My advice about this place: ride on by.
