Bought a Napoleon gas insert and had my contractor install. Everything was done on time and under budget. People at Amanda’s were outstanding. I have no Connection with Amanda’s other than th his purchase.

Outrages pricing for a service call and return service calls.
Returning phone calls are not their thing.
Staff opinionated and rude.
Very uncaring once they have conducted a purchase.

Do not ever even think about buying anything from this vendor. The vendor and its employees are disreputable, unscrupulous and simply thieves. I bought a gas fireplace insert from these thieves and waited 5 months to get in installed. The insert worked for 2 years and is now inoperable and cannot be fixed. Stay away from these con artists.

Needed to get a new barbecue grill and researched Napoleon. I live in Cooperstown New York but the closest dealer that had some inventory to look at was Amanda’s fireplace in Hudson New York. I took the drive to Hudson and found a great facility and many grills on display. They were knowledgeable and informative. I asked for pricing and brochures on the models I was most interested in. I left without purchasing so I could go home and do some research and see how the pricing looked. In the end the pricing was very competitive I placed an order and had my new grill shipped to me within a week. We were more than pleased the way our transaction went.

worst service department ever ordered stove set up appointment guys came to my house with wrong stove had to wait even longer than prepared to very unprofessional i wish i had read these reviews before i even began to deal with these rude UN knowledgeable people. called after six months of install smoke would not go up the chimminey so they said yup will send someone out two weeks later guy comes am says you have to pay us first. WTF fix the screw up. Hate would not recommend to any one. :((((((bad business practices.:((((((

My husband stopped in here to check out what they had for sale. We are looking to buy a stove or an insert but aren’t sure what is out there. They wouldn’t show us anything unless we gave them an idea of their price range. They didn’t seem to understand that price wasn’t really a concern for us. Incredibly rude.
