D-Roxx Specialty Cuts

These guys are always in a hurry, and it shows. I could handle him making me bleed last time, but this time he did not even finish the job. This, after bumping my appointment back due to a walk-​in.

I’ve been to a few barber shops in town and this would be the best by far!!! They welcome walk-​ins but i like to personally book my appointment. The owners name is Derrick and he is very professional and works great with kids (my son has gone to him since day one). I love the fact that he uses a straight razor to line me up or and makes it tight. They also sell different kinds of gels geared towards men. It is very clean inside with a great new look and has three TVs to watch while waiting. I would highly recommend D-​ROXX to anyone of all ages.

Modern yet classic barber shop that doesn’t just rush people through a cut to get on to the next guy waiting in line. You can expect amusing banter about sports, girls, and video games. Saturday mornings are busy so I’d recommend calling ahead for an appointment.

Heard of this place from a friend of a friend today & my son was in DESPERATE need of a cut & was tired of going to Snip Its because to tell the truth they really cant do a good fade… So when I heard they could do a good fade here, Off I went on my to visit…
Was with the BFF in Marlborough & we decided lets get the boys cuts. I called & spoke with Drew and asked if they take walk ins & was told to come right in…
Got there & was seated right away & all the boys in the shop were decent, its as any barbershop around the way is, Momma jokes, shit talking… So then it comes to the haircut part… Well my 2 year old isnt the best with patience & as I mentioned has only had haircuts at snipits where there are bubbles & lollipops. So he was ok for the first few minutes & then came the tears & SCREAMS… Yeah he cried the whole time & Drew was great he might have been totally pissed but he didnt show it & was really patient with my son who didnt sit still… He got lined up really well, a Faux Hawk & a really decent fade. I will definitely be back to visit the shop again when it grows out!
I figure I cant let the bad experience of it stop me from going because then my son will never sit for a haircut, but if I keep going maybe he will get used to it!
