Giggi’s Boutique

After seeing many review and picture online. I decided to come here to try on my wedding dress. First, I was impressed on the services and time Phuoa has given me, she listen to my need and want and not that she delivered she over perform it. The dress itself is good quality and many to choose from, the shop has great staff and services and the prices are affordable. Thank you gigi for the wonderful services and experience. I can’t wait to wear my wedding dress this Sept.

I made an appointment to go wedding dress shopping at Giggi’s boutique. I was so excited to find the dress of my dreams for my special day. I went into the boutique so optimistic and hopeful that this place would be able to help me find my perfect dress. I was sadly mistaken. We talked with the women that greeted us and told her what I was looking for in a dress. She put me in ONE dress which wasn’t at all what I wanted. She then kept bringing up my price range which I thought wasn’t that unreasonable but I guess at this establishment they aren’t accepting of (i said my price would be around 1,000 and that I would be willing to go up a little higher if I found the right dress) after I tried on that one dress, the lady that was «helping» me then proceeded to tell me «well there is really no point in trying anymore dresses on» NO POINT? Really no point in trying more than one dress on? I felt as if she didn’t want to help me just because my price limit wasn’t as high as she would’ve liked it to be. I left there feeling so deflated and hurt. Lucky for me I had an awesome group of girls with me to lift my spirits and was able to make an appointment at Temptations in Leominster where I found the dress of my dreams! Thankfully they found a point to have me try on more than one dress! Moral of my story is that Giggi’s made me feel like just a number and they didn’t want my business. DON’t GO THERE

Great experience. Giggi was professional, courteous, and willing to work with you to make your day perfect. Trying on dresses in her very elegant shop made you feel like royalty. I recommend Giggi’s Boutique to friends, family, and anyone who wants to feel special when looking for their wedding dress.

Excellent customer service. Giggi and her husband are absolute sweethearts. She took the time to really help in in and out of dresses, suggest belts etc. Really fantastic. They’re apparently extending their shop, moving into the space next door. The ONLY downside is there didn’t seem to be too many dresses for what I was particularly looking for (but I’m really picky so take that with a grain of salt). Great experience.

CRAZY SERVICE in a small space but growing booming business! AND Working with Gigi, who is a diva doll, classy and hot to boot — was whipped cream on my cake! Really! I’ve outgrown my black tie bling, and had to run out at the 11^th hour to find a dress… Now mind you, I’m like the frankenstein mother of the bride in a petite and round figure… (yep one cupcake too many!). I fell in LOVE with a $ 475 dress — TO DIE FOR, but the savvy lady pointed me to her discount rack — BAM! $ 50 for glam and glamour!
AND she has $ 1500 and up dresses marked down — $ 500 can buy you a DREAMY designer label without the designer label price. Can’t beat her!

I loved working with Giggi! She personally outfitted my mom, my bridesmaids and me with some gorgeous dresses that were top quality! Her shop is adorable and although it looks small from the outside, it has so much to offer!
The shop is beautiful inside and Giggi takes great care of all her dresses! She provided personal attention for sizing and what people may like to wear. She provides a wide range of options and price ranges. I highly recommend her store to all brides!

First off, I created a Unilocal account just for this review. Visiting Giggi’s Boutique for my wedding dress has been the best part of the whole wedding planning experience. Giggi and her employee were so helpful and patient. I was very undecisive, they let me try on multiple dresses up to 3 times each. They were honest about which would not alter as well, which would be more uncomfortable in my outdoor wedding. I was there for over two and a half hours, most places only seem to give you an hour to hour and half.
Also, when you are trying to plan a wedding on a budget, the «off the rack» prices help! I would recommend anyone to this boutique, and am so happy I found it.

I loved my experience at Gigi’s from start to end. I am a plus size bride and wanted to have a designer gown just like everyone else, but I refuse to spend a thousand dollars on a dress that I can’t even try on!
I did some online research and found that Gigi’s has plus size gowns. I drove all the way from Portland Maine and I am so glad that I did! My cousin got married last year so I have been in at least 10 bridal stores from Maine to Mass, but Gigi’s is by far the best.
There is a bridal suite in the back of the shop which has a couch for your friends and a platform for you to stand on. Gigi will take a look at your figure and actually pick out the dresses that will look best on you. The first one she put on me made me cry because it was so beautiful. I said this is it and she said lets try on some others to make sure. She put me in some stunning gowns, but I still liked the first one best. When she put me in that dress again, I cried again. And she said, «honey, that’s your dress.» She was right! She asked me if I say yes to the dress and I did! When you say yes to your dress she does something truly special but I don’t want to ruin it for you.
I had gone to other bridal stores and felt like I was just a time slot, not special. When I went to Gigi’s I was treated like a celebrity and I could tell that Gigi wanted to make sure I had a dress that I loved. I am not a particularly touchy feely person, but I had to hug that woman before I left because I was so happy with her service!
I will always cherish my experience with her.

I give Giggi’s 5 stars on shop cleanliness, organization, gown selection, and professional personality. I had a great time finding my dress there and trusted her expertise. I’m only giving her 3 stars because she ordered my wedding gown 2 sizes too big, and trust me ladies: when you have to take in that much fabric, the dress WILL NOT look like the same one you fell in love with when it’s done.
I’m a size 2 in regular store dresses, so when Giggi said I needed a 10 based on the «designer’s dimensions», I thought that was crazy – but she knew better, she was the pro so I didn’t argue. My dress came in 4 weeks before the wedding and I was swimming in it – she even asked if I’d lost weight! (Opposite: I gained a few pounds since the try on). I had no option but to take it. You’re under contract for the size when you place the order. And with only 4 weeks to go, I just hoped we could make it work.
After 2 fittings the dress lost it’s magic. The details didn’t sit the same on the bodice, and the awesome drape of the lace skirt lost it’s flow.
So brides beware: Giggi’s size charts (or business practice?) are unreliable and once you put a down payment on a dress, you’re stuck. And it’s too bad Giggi didn’t make an effort to make it right, besides «letting her sales rep know about the size chart».
The shopping experience was great but the rest was very disappointing.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Giggi’s. She keeps her shop very organized, clean, and has a great selection. A huge amount of plus-​sized dresses for those brides who are not a size 0. She is awesome to work with, and this is exactly the type of business I want to support with my money.
I will recommend Giggi’s to everyone I know who is in need of a wedding, bridesmaid, mother of the bride/​groom etc etc. Some of her off-​the-​rack dresses are VERY cheap with great deals, too. You get much better service, emotional support, and quality than a David’s Bridal. Do not pass Giggi’s by! Make an appointment– and check it out!

Let me say, I have been to many dress shops (8 in one week once), and by far, Giggi’s has been the best.
It is the best kept bridal shop I have been to. VERY clean and organized.
The front of the store has all the bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, prom and event dresses and the mother of the bride dresses. She also offers shoes and has some on display in the front too, along with jewelry.
She keeps the wedding dresses in the back room, which is beautifully decorated (and organized) and has a raised circular platform you can stand on in front of a huge mirror to check out your dress from every angle. You have to take off your shoes before you go to the back so you don’t track dirt into that room and possibly stain the dresses. She takes very good care of the dresses, and it definitely shows. There is also a private dressing room where you put the dress on before you go into the back room to show all your friends and family.
She doesn’t keep a very large inventory of wedding dresses, but the dresses she has are superlative. She also carries a newer line by Rena Koh called ‘Agape Ever’. I did my research and she’s the only store in all of New England that carries this line. (Bonus!)
As with every bridal shop, appointments are recommended.
Now, onto my experience:
Last spring, I started shopping for my wedding dress. Giggi’s was one of the places I visited. I had very set ideas about what type of dress I wanted, and she was very gracious about it, and didn’t push me into trying on what I didn’t want. I had a long list of things I didn’t want. (No pleats, no folds, no pick-​ups, no ruffles, and definitely no full skirt.)
I left after the first time empty handed, but with a good impression of Giggi.
So about two months later when my sister needed help finding a last minute wedding dress, I brought her to Giggi’s. Giggi was very helpful. My sister must have tried on half her dresses, and vetoed the other half. But I kept eying a very elegant couture dress by Agape Ever. I had to try it on. I did see it the first time, but I told myself that I didn’t want that dress, it wouldn’t fit into the theme of my wedding.
OMG, I fell head over heels in LOVE with the dress. Remember how I had a list of things I didn’t want in a wedding dress? Well, this dress had draping folds on the bodice, a full skirt and pick-​ups… What do I know about what kind of dress I wanted? It was beautiful. The only problem? I had already bought a dress I thought would fit my theme, but didn’t love.
My sister didn’t leave with a dress from Giggi’s because she had already fallen in love with another dress she couldn’t order because it was too close to her wedding, but eventually found a way to acquire.
We both left, but a week later, I went back and Giggi let me try it on again. I bought it. She was gracious enough to help me find a place for my first dress, so it wasn’t a total loss. Absolutely one of the BEST things about my wedding. The dress definitely made the day, I got so many compliments on it. Best part? It didn’t cost an arm and a leg.
I have to also mention how great Giggi was, which made my experience all the better. I went to Giggi’s a total of 5 times, first to search, second with my sister, third to purchase, fourth to take pictures, and fifth to pick it up. The last four times I put my dress on each time and she was very gracious about it.
Boston ladies? Definitely worth a trip to Hudson. Beautiful, elegant couture gowns that aren’t offered in any other shop in New England, and VERY affordable.
Did I mention how wonderful the fabric felt? I swear I had everyone touch my dress just to feel how wonderful it was… (Satin Organza)
