I hired Chris and his company to install storm doors and a retractable screen door. Brian came out to do the installation and quickly gave me a run down as to how long it should take and what the job would entail. He was very thorough in his attention to detail. Before he started on one of the doors, he told me that it would take a bit more than expected because the size of the existing frame was just a touch small. After discussing some options, he took care of that issue very skillfully and the door was installed as if it had always been there. I could not be happier with the results. The ovearll time to finish the entire job was less than I expected and the cost was right on target of the estimate. I found both Chris and Brian very professional and skilled. He showed up when he was supposed to and cleaned up after the job was complete. Overland will be back to help me when I have the need.

My friend and neighbor hired this company about 4 months ago to redo her kitchen. Now granted the snow situation put the start date off but they finally came more than 7 days ago and ripped out her old kitchen. She waits every day for the electrician to show, every day it’s some excuse. Today his truck broke down .I went with her to order the flooring which will take 3 weeks to come in. She called Chris and he told her not to order it yet! I don’t think this guy knows what he is doing. Her cabinets have been sitting in her living room since Christmas. I have fixed up 3 houses over the years. New kitchens and bathrooms, tiled, painted, put in new ceilings and floors. I realize timing and organization is mandatory in getting a job done. This company falls miserably on getting a job done. Living without a kitchen, especially when you have a family to feed is terrible, This company just does not care

I used Overland to have my porch painted because my neighbor used them, but I wouldn’t use them again. I’ll start with the positives. The quality of the work is great. The owner Chris and all his employees that I met were nice and good to work with. The first problem is that he did not give me a realistic start date. I contacted him in early June, he said he would start in early July, but he didn’t start until August 29. The second problem was the price. The final price was almost double the initial estimate. He did revise his initial estimate before he started work, but he also went significantly over the revised estimate. There were no surprises on the job so it was just not a realistic estimate. I also feel that I paid too much after comparing the price to paint my porch against the price my parent’s paid to get their whole house painted.
