Love their pizza. It’s definitely my favorite for delivery. Takes a little longer than the chains, but it’s so worth it! The sauce & sausage are a tad spicy, which I love.(It’s a little too spicy for my mom, so Pizza Hut it is if she’s over.) I normally don’t prefer thin crust, but theirs is great. Occasionally it’s a little overdone, which would be my only complaint.

All the other reviews are very outdated so I thought a new review is needed. We ordered a thin crust pizza and the crust was soggy! I mean, really soggy, the edge didn’t even have«crunch». It’s too loaded with cheese and other ingredients that the balance was totally off. The sauce was non-existent, couldn’t taste it at all. No doubt, our two fav pizza joints in Hudson are Doughboys and San Pedro.

Not the same as the red’s in St. Paul – but I cannot sit at home in my pj’s and get delivery from them either. I ordered the Red’s original with cheese and sausage. It was flavorful and the sausage had a little spicy bite to it. It was just middle of the road pizza not too shabby but nothing to get orgasmic over either!

Ordered the calzones and was a bit surprised to see no sauce cup for dipping, then realized the sauce was in the calzone. It was tasty but very salty — and I generally salt all my food, so this is not a complaint I generally have. All in all i don’t want the sauce inside my calzone and I’ve decided I don’t care for there salty sauce. The wings were very tasty and tender and juicy. We will try a pizza next time and maybe the sauce won’t be as overwhelming.

Dropped in for lunch today in between dental appts for the kids and did not have a great experience. Initially thought we’d have the buffet but I peeked at it before ordering and there were 3 pieces of old cold pizza left on it(at 1225, buffet ends at 1), so ordered a pizza instead. We sat down and immediately realized that the 5 other tables were all grumbling b/c they were hungry and waiting on the buffet! Finally one man went to ask wtheck and came back and said more would be out«soon». So we sat for 25 min, starving, and the cashier came over and said«the printer isn’t working so your pizza didn’t get started right away» and it would still be 10 – 15 more minutes! The 2 stars is b/c he suggested we could eat some pizza from the buffet while we waited.(Additional pizzas did show up on the buffet). We ended up having them box the pizza so we could get back for our appt on time. Oh, I should mention, they did give us a $ 5 off coupon for«next time». I gave it to the man at the next table with 6″ of slices stacked on his plate! It was ok pizza and the guy was really nice, but not worth the hassle.

Did the take and bake option, better than papa Murphy’s for sure, but staff seemed overwhelmed. No match for the original, but more convenient.

Red Savoy’s Pizza in Hudson is exactly what I am looking for in good American style pizza. I just visited their establishment for their $ 5.99 lunch buffet which was worth every penny. Here is my list of pizza attributes I look for. 1. Saucy, I live my pizza to have lots of flavorful sauce 2. Lot of cheese, I am from Wisconsin so my pizza needs to have a ton of cheese on it. 3. Crispy crust, it should be light and flaky with some nice color What was so amazing, is that they nailed every single one of the things on my list. If you are trying to decide on a pizza to order be sure to get one of their sausage pizzas it was some of the best sausage I have ever had on a pizza. Also the Canadian Bacon and Pineapple was very good. Savoy’s has a very casual dining area with video games against the back wall. The place was very clean and the service was excellent while I was there. It reminds me of the pizza places I use to go to as a kid back in the 80s. Try their lunch buffet some time then go back and order a whole pizza to take home when you know what you like.

Great pizza! It’s the Carbones of Today! Will agree it’s not the same as the ‘Original’ in St. Paul, but still good.

As far as I’m concerned the only Red’s Savoy is in St. Paul I have had a pizza from 3 other Savoy’s and they don’t compair it is close but you know where that counts, if you want a pizza that isn’t a pizza hut or dominos that will be a good choice but if you want a Red’s Savoy Pizza drive. 20 minuets west on 94 to the only Original Red’s Savoy!

Well I’m sitting here writing my review of Unique Thrift for my Unilocal list about 9 p.m. and the doorbell rings. It’s Red Savoy’s pizza place here in town with a compli pie. Evidently they read my recent review. I stand corrected and must eat my pizza with sauce on my face. This time, however – and I’m not just saying this cuz it was comp’d – the pizza was perfectly done. Just what we ordered before, all sausage, half veggie. It was just what we expected from having been to other Red Savoy’s. The owner, EJ, was very apologetic about the other day’s overdone crust. He said they have just had the franchise open a couple weeks and are still working on perfecting the dough. My husband and I are astounded and impressed that he would go to this length to make a customer happy. Way to go. That kind of service is well, unheard of. Also they ARENOTTHESAMEOWNERS as when I was there before and had the awful buffet. Bad me for not checking the facts. F in fact-checking. Also I had put the wrong phone number down when I added the listing. It is 715−531−0500. So double flunky for fact-checking. I should be fired from Unilocal.Well wait, I’m not getting paid to do this. It’s strictly for fun. Yep, I have a big mushroom on my face. Frankly, I am stunned by the speed and power of Unilocal. PS And I’m a little awestruck or maybe even unsettled about their sleuthing to find me: id’ing the pizza to my first name and last name init with debit card purchase and then my address!
