Sal’s Barber Shop

Overpriced hipster hair salon. It was so dead that I did not need a reservation. The employees did not look happy. I was ignored the whole time I got a haircut but hey that’s good for me but maybe not to others. The haircut was OK. But 26 $ ??? Wow

Great boy’s and men’s cuts. All three of my boys go here. Modern, cool décor and very friendly atmosphere.

I decided to try a «Premium Shave» at Sal’s the other day, and I really wish I hadn’t.
I don’t know if this was the first shave that Cody’s ever done, or if he was just having an ‘off day’. Either way, this was officially the worst shave I’ve ever had. Either he has no idea what he’s doing, or that blade was completely dull (or some combination thereof).
When I got back to the car and got a close look in the mirror, I noticed patches of stubble all over — especially in the moustache area. This is despite the fact that he spent a tremendous amount of time going over and over this area (which was excruciating… it felt like he was individually plucking the hairs one by one with a pair of plyers). Quite honestly, I could’ve gotten a closer shave with a pair of scissors. It was so bad that I had to head straight home to shave again so it didn’t look ridiculous.
To recap — It sounds like the haircuts are OK here, but please do yourself a favor (and save yourself $ 38): SKIP THE SHAVE

I’m from out of town but desperately needed a haircut for upcoming job interviews & my birthday. My family all goes to the same salon — & no offense, but I do not like it (or salons in general), & I tend to have a better time with barbers with my short-​but-​feminine hair. I checked out Sal’s on Unilocal,they had availability, I booked online really easily (I love the convenience of online booking!) & headed over.
Sal’s is fantastic. It has the feel of an urban barber, the décor is fantastic, if I lived here they would become my regular. I might even save some haircuts for when I’m visiting. Nick was great with my hair & possibly crafted one of my favorite haircuts to date.

Awesome urban style barbershop in the burbs. These guys know what they’re doing. Cody is the man!

I tried Sal’s for the first time this summer and I keep going back. I’m always hesitant when picking a new place to cut my hair, but Sal’s is a top notch shop. Nick and Paul have both cut my hair and both barbers have a great eye for hair. Highly recommend Sal’s!

Great place in downtown Hudson to get a haircut. Nick does a great job! Paul and the rest of the staff are always friendly and accommodating!

Great hairs cuts, and extremely nice! Their haircuts never disappoint. They are always open to any type of hair cut you want.
