I had to stop in due to running over some kind of hook and my tire was going flat pretty quick. This was at closing time and they said they would be able to get it patched first thing in the morning and then I could come pick it up. I was impressed by them being able to work so quick and help me out. Then the next day when I went to pick it up the girl at the front handed me a sheet of items that should be repaired… I didn’t feel like she was pressuring me to get things done right now but I did see some concern with the items she told me. She had a list of items that were wrong with my car… Among them, they said I needed to replace my two front tires, my oil was leaking, and my transmission fluid was leaking. They wouldn’t know that I regularly bring my car to Barber Ford in Holland and had just had a multipoint inspection in the last month. They also wouldn’t know that I just bought new tires less than 6 months ago. It seems to me that perhaps they were throwing things at me to «fix» just to try and get money out of me. I was not impressed at all after seeing this. I know that small businesses have to try and compete with everything but making things up just to get you to spend money seems low. It appears that the work they do is probably okay but they are a little shady to their customers and try and get you to «fix» things or replace things that are not an issue. I would say they do good work on your vehicle but I would get a second opinion before believing them.
